If you enjoy a lot of shore time and less cruising time. Many days the sailing didn't start until 11 pm , when many people are getting ready to sleep.

Oceania caters mostly to an older traveler. GREAT Food, great itineraries and tours, and enough entertainment and activities to make me continue to book on Oceania. Try to find a cabin in the middle of the ship if available. Book a larger cabin if you think you'll be cramped.

You might want to try looking your own excursions.

If you want a smaller smaller ship opt for the 2 largest ships in their fleet. We had friends who sailed on one of them and they had a much better experience

This was our first cruise with Oceania , and the Sirena . We had good reviews form friends about the food , and it wasn't what we expected . Our recomendation will be for one of the best itineraries to cover in 10 days .

Oceania caters mainly to an older crowd who can be away for 2+ weeks.

Book your next cruise while you are on this one in order to get an excellent deal, with all credit going to your own travel agent.

Don't bring children, and don't choose this ship for the entertainment. It excels in itineraries, food, staff and those fabulous beds in no particular order, but it's simply not the place for children or late-night partiers. If you're (roughly) 40-75 and well traveled it's perfect.

Get a room with a balcony.

Being a smaller ship, you feel more of the ocean waves, especially side-to-side.

Don't overlook the library on Deck 10 - so many great books AND a paperback exchange.

Very nice to see so many employees from our last cruise on Nautica on the Sirena. Owner’s suites should not have to pay a wine corkage fee. The casino had zero energy which was unfortunate and I missed having the sea day Texas holdem tournament.

Just enjoy yourself. No long lines or people trying to sell you stuff all the time. The food is excellent and everyone is really nice.

Bring a US coverter to charge your phones and tablets. I purchased ine on Amazon and used it daily.

Small ship, not as many features as the larger ships.

Don't!

Don't book on the Sirena.

If you want to go on shore excursion, do not go on Oceania's shore excursions. Organize your shore excursions on your own, at every port ahead of time before boarding the ship through other reliable independent vendors/contractors (check for names on the internet).

Bring reading material for the sea days
