Review summary

Overall, the cruise was excellent, however, a few points reduced my score from a 5 to a 4.

*  I think the ship should rethink stopping in Suva, Fiji, as we did not feel very safe in that port.  We were warned about this in "Currents," and also were warned about it by the bus driver taking us to town.  He said even catching a cab could be dangerous.  We went back to the port dock on his recommendation and booked an excursion there.

*  I would love to see less expensive excursion prices.  Many times you can get the same excursion at the port dock for a considerably cheaper price.

The service on the ship is excellent as well as the food.  We would definitely recommend this trip.

The hangers on the inside bathroom door were loose and the towels kept falling.

Ship tip

Being a smaller ship, you feel more of the ocean waves, especially side-to-side.

Stay together when you go into town and have all your valuables secured. Best place to catch a cab is on the port dock, not in town.
