Even though we had many ports cxld on us because the ports feared Covid, we made the best of it on the best cruise line out there. They gave us 2 overnights in SFO at the end instead of 3 ports in Mexico. They also gave us 25% off our next cruise if booked in a year and sail within 2 yrs. So that was very generous and the staff was so wonderful that we soon didn't care about the ports at all. We loved the ship and loved being at sea on Regent. 18nts turned out to be not enough. I didn't want to leave.
Embarkation

Embark was a good as it could be given that we were Covid tested pier side first.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Some of the best food I've ever had anywhere. I miss it already. Buffets were ever changing and they had lots of great Indian and Asian foods to try, that were so authentic. The Burgers poolside were insanely good! WOW
Onboard Activities

They don't have a lot of them, but what they did have were so fun. We loved all the Team Quizzes with Nunzio and Sienna, and Team Trivia with Andy and Mensa Quiz with Tammy , and daily officers challenges where we squared off against the many Officers on board. Great way to get to know the crew. So personal
Entertainment

I didn't see much of it, but what I saw I liked very much . The Crew Capers talent show was full production and not just a bunch of average singers. They had choreography and costumes and it was a hoot and easily the best crew show ever! We loved it. I had dinner with a Broadway star on board (Jeri Sager) and the Magician and his wife and that was a wonderful dinner and experience you don't get on other lines at all.
Children's Programs
no kids on board our cruise. 2 older teens
Service and Staff

Kertia our dinner server was so funny and we loved her. Nino Maitre'd, and really all the dining room staff were great to us. Room steward read my mind one night. I had seen a bottle of unopened Champagne (The real stuff) outside a suite on my floor. I stared at it as I walked by towards my suite at the end of the hall. Well not 2 min later (Around 10PM), my doorbell rang. I opened the door and she had a bottle of cold Champagne in her hand and just pushed it towards me. I hadn't ordered any. It is free, so I could have done so. But maybe she saw me or they saw me staring at it on the security camera? I accepted it of course, even though I didn't open it that evening. I mean that is some next level service.

Loved getting around so easily on the smaller vessel. Spotless

Wonderful. The bathroom was so luxurious. But the tub was a bit high up to get into and out of. I would rather have had a shower (I was upgraded before boarding to 987, with tub/shower). The balcony was very roomy and comfy chairs that had nice cushions put out on them daily. Walk in closet was also very nice with more drawers than I needed and plenty of hangers too.
My tour was a bit disappointing. Maybe I should have ziplined after all. The Sky tram was nothing special and saw no animals in the jungle because the zipline overhead scares them all away from that area. The crocodile boat ride did see a lot of crocs and we saw one big macaw fly overhead and that was really cool to see one free and flying for a change.
Didn't like my harbor and City tour. Would be better to walk around since you dock in town. Now I know for next time. The harbor tour is just telling me about all the many battleships parked there. Not something of interest to me personally.
Don't do the Dim Sum tours. Go for that on your own somewhere because cruise ship accepting restaurants are not going to give you great food. More like a bad banquet.
