Get a balcony, you won’t regret it! On the Tracy Arms cruising portion, order room service breakfast and stay on your balcony. The views are incredible. The decks are crowded with people taking pictures. This was one of our highlights.

Check the itinerary carefully. We didn’t t realize Skagway would be cut short to visit Haines the same day. We ended up with 3 sea days, which were boring with limited activities.

Beside The windjammer cafe there is a drink station that’s open all night good for water. There is no card room only a place next to mdr with tables where you can play games. Check out the views at deck 13 Viking club, have a drink on the rotating bar! Don’t expect as many food options in the buffet as the other ships but there is still plentyyyyy to choose from.

Serenade of the Seas is small, so if you’re looking for all of the fun and excitement of a large ship, you will sorely be disappointed. This is a great ship for a couple or a group of friends, but not for a young family.

Haines was the least favorite stop, strongly recommend you consider an excursion for this day in port, town is small and except for the Brewery, not much going on. Best shopping was Ketchikan and Sitka (our two favorite stops).

Be patient when dining in the main dining room at certain times, go later for no wait.

My main piece of advice would be to NOT PURCHASE THE WIFI service. It is a WASTER of your money to do so. The internet connection is SO bad on this ship. I couldnt connect to get checked in to my flights coming home. Couldn't even use the Royal Carribean app. I was continually frustrated with how HORRIBLE the internet service was. I've been on other ships and purchased internet that was much much better.
