Trip of a lifetime, perfect weather every day (highly unusual for summer in Alaska), most memorable excursion was the Helicopter Trip to the Glacier and walking around on the Glacier, breathtaking and wondrous.

Main dining room was OK, unable to make reservations except 1st night for my time dining. Had random servers and seating etc. Food quality was rather disappointing. Windjammer was always a ZOO, food options were pretty good, food mainly cold. Specialty restaurants, tried Chops for lunch, good steak and service. Sushi restaurant was somewhat disappointing but, due to my low carb limitations. Giovanni's was our very favorite, Rodel was exceptional. His goal was to treat us like family and he did just that, food was so delicious.

Comedy shows were exceptional, musical show was flashy but, not our cup of tea. Loved the music in the Centrum.

No consistent waiters, room steward was very warm and accommodating, loved our waiter at Giovanni's Rodel and Mary, a very special Casino server who was so charming and endearing.

Signs at tables etc. stated "cleaned for your safety" but, we didn't ever see any staff cleaning. We came home with Covid so.......
Cabin / Stateroom

We were most delighted with the cabin, small but, so much storage and loved our balcony. Always clean and cozy.
Ship tip
Haines was the least favorite stop, strongly recommend you consider an excursion for this day in port, town is small and except for the Brewery, not much going on. Best shopping was Ketchikan and Sitka (our two favorite stops).
