Loved everything about this cruise!! The small ship size was perfect. Specialty dining was great. Loved the spa staff and our cabin attendant and my favorite bartender in the Solarium.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Required what seemed like miles of walking carrying all of our baggage through the snake lines. A bit confusing at Canada Place as several ships were docked for embarkation. We found ourselves in the wrong line once. We did not arrive by car (walked a few blocks from our hotel) so we missed the porters who take bags from the parking area.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Windjammer meh. The Indian food at lunch time was consistently decent. Main dining room breakfasts were good, lunches decent, and the couple dinners we had there only fair.
We did have 5 dinners in specialty dinning and all the specialty dining restaurants on ship were great.
Onboard Activities

The spa was great. Loved the thermal suite. Massage & Facial was awesome. Did not get in any pool or hot tub, too much Pee and not enough H. But, the time spent lounging poolside was great.
Loved all the shows but the singing couple.
The decades dance party was so much fun and I rarely dance.
Entertainment

Juggler, comedian and dance group were awesome!!
Service and Staff

Excellent all around except when I had to complain about a misleading excursion. (Sitka wildlife kayak or something like that). The excursion staff nor the was willing or able to refund or otherwise appease me.
Ship Quality

Smaller, older ship but very clean. I loved the ease of getting from one venue to the next.
Cabin / Stateroom

We stayed in a spacious ocean balcony room. A size down from our first cruise (junior suite). This time it was just my husband and myself. We left our 2 sons at home. The room had more than enough, thoughtfully arranged storage and it was the prefect size for us. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. We loved Milton our cabin attendant. He spoiled us with chocolate covered strawberries, several nights of cute animal towels and made sure we had everything we needed.
Easy but we needed to figure out where to stash our luggage for several hours so we could enjoy more of Vancouver. There is a baggage storage company in the terminal and we found a very helpful employee who walked us to it.
