Review summary

Food was great, ALL of the staff was phenomenal. Sitka I felt was a waste of time but Juneau and Ketchikan was nice. Not going to Hubbard Glacier was a major bummer. Music Venture and CBJ Band was incredible.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Fantastic

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Really nice gym, thought there would be more activities.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every night I watched Music Venture and the CBJ Band. They were both phenomenal and everyone else enjoyed them too. Audrey with the guess the lyric show was fun too.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Outstanding by all. They were all very kind and went above and beyond. Mosafera was our room steward and he was so kind and did an amazing job with our room. Ahmad and Pankaj were our head waiter and assistant waiter in the Reflections Dining Room. We were a group of 10 and they remembered ALL of our names from our first night dining with them which I found most impressive! Phenomenal service from them too! Amir, Shakira and Chongan from Windjammer were also very friendly and we loved having them take care of us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Common areas were very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was very clean thanks to our room steward Mosafera. Loved the several animal towels that he did. Washroom is a little small but that was to be expected.

Ship tip

Go to the helipad at the front of the ship via Deck 5.

Foggy, couldn’t see anything

Sitka, Alaska

This port was a waste of time. People were friendly but the town seems like it’s dying and there wasn’t much to see or do there.

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

BEAUTIFUL!

Juneau, Alaska

Really cool town.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Didn’t get to see it do to fog. If part of the cruise doesn’t happen, passengers should get a partial refund or future cruise credit. At the end of the day if Royal Caribbean isn’t able to provide a service, passengers should be compensated in some way.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Really cool port. Did the zipline excursion with Kawanti Adventures. Our guides were Tristan and Raymond. They were really funny but also professional. Shoutout to Kate too! Maybe it was Katie lol.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and surprisingly fast.

Thank you for sharing. Cruiseline will refund the port fee, maybe nothing else.

It stinks that you didn’t get to see the Hubbard glacier, but going on a cruise to see something in nature takes on the risk that something natural (ie fog) will occur. Glad the rest of your cruise was nice.
