Ask to sit in Magdalena's section at Sabatini's! She was superb and we even took a photo with her we were so enamored by her personality and waiting skills! The E deck was wonderful because it was right above the main floor so we could take the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator a lot.

Ask to see if any groups are having special events on the boat, you may or may not want to join those groups out to sea for 7+ days.

Ask for Miguel in Crown Grill. A GREAT waiter. Ask for starboard side on Mexican Riviera cruise. Take Pirate Ship Adventure in Puerto Vallarta, worth every penny!

We had reserved seating at 5:30 so that we could make the shows- just the 4 of us. Next time, it would be nice to dine with other guests to meet more people

Sail on Disney, where they know how to treat their guests. Even their older ships are better than the Ruby Princess.

Be sure to go to the top deck to watch your arrive into Vancouver - don't miss going under the Kingsway Bridge (with about 20' to spare). It is worth waking up early for it.

Any time seating option was very nice. We sit at the Julius's table a lot. He was nice, funny and great waiter at Michelangelo restaurant.

If at all in doubt of your sea legs, make sure you book a room in the middle of the ship. Ours was almost the last cabin in the back, on the highest deck and it contributed to my getting sea sick.
