Review summary

Over all, we enjoyed it. We traveled 1/02/16 - 1/09/16.

Food was better than some other cruise lines and the selections of the drinks were good, too.  When we were coming back to LA from Cabo, the ship ride was so rough to even walk normally. It might be the weather, so windy and cold in Pacific ocean. Due to the lack of stability and some motion sickness, I couldn't go to the exercise classes. On the way to Puerto Vallarta, we changed time, one hour ahead from Pacific time and kept the time as a ship time(the same as Mountain time). However, Puerto Vallarta's local time was one more hour ahead, which is Central time. We didn't know there was one hour time different between the ship time and the local time until the night before we arrived to Puerto Vallarta. I already arranged own excursion boat trip to Marietas islands according to the ship itinerary.  If I didn't realize it quick enough and didn't make an action, we would have missed our excursion trip.  This will happen when you travel winter season cruise due to change from daylight savings time. The local time of Mazatlan and Cabo was the same as the ship time.  So, watch out when you make your own arrangement!

Our steward, John from Philipines, was great. He was friendly, kind and kept our room always clean. We wish we had a bigger balcony space. It was nice to have a bath tab in our room.

Ship tip

Any time seating option was very nice. We sit at the Julius's table a lot. He was nice, funny and great waiter at Michelangelo restaurant.

We expect and have fun with the rough seas in the Pacific. I take half a Bonnine twice a day and feel fine. Since I am getting older and my sea legs aren't as steady as they used to be, I bought a folding cane to take along. lol. My kids were cracking up when I told them. I figure it will steady my walk when the ship rolls and I can smack the masters who get too frisky... 😀
