Typical experience but high levels of Covid so they need to go back to requiring masks and no self serve food.

A good cruise, but not as great as our Alaska cruise in 2015. Not totally their fault, weather when leaving SF really messed up the timeline, and caused port changes.

Alaska was beautiful, port changes! Weather was awesome

We booked for 4 adults, thinking it would give us two rooms like how most cruises that we'd been require (2 adults/cabin), but no. They squeezed 4 adults into a tiny room with 2 pullout beds and 2 twin beds. We had been in communication for payment and other services many times before the start date too, and no one at the cruise line felt the need to confirm with us if we really wanted a tiny room for 4 adults. Overall just a terrible experience from the start and we cannot wait for it to be over. If we could, we would leave the ship and return to port immediately.

Given the fact that cruising is just getting back on the waters shall we say and the shortage of staff. I believe that This cruise did stand up to the other cruises that we have taken in the past. Putting on a scale of 1 -10 I would indeed give it a 9+. I'm only taking away a half point shall we say because of the canceled excursion that we were not informed about. I'm now waiting on my credit to my account for the cost of the excursion.

This was our first cruise and it was fantastic! We went expecting to relax but ended up making some friends for life on the first day and enjoying the bars and karaoke. We loved that there was so much to do on board and the absolutely fantastic service! It wasn't perfect but it was a fantastic holiday/vacation and we can't wait to cruise again!

Alaska at the beginning of the season was wonderfully cold! Not much wildlife but lots of snow capped mountains! Disappointed with Princess a bit versus our pre-pandemic experiences with them but still had a wonderful and relaxing trip! You must pack your patience and roll with the changes when booking a cruise right now.

We will go on another Princess Cruise again. Next cruise will be going to the Panama Canal next year.

If you have never try cruising, you must try it for once in your life, you will not regret it.

Nice relaxing time but weather limited pool activities

they need more staff for food areas. We have a cruise booked on same ship for October 1, 2022 but we will be canceling if they do not improve their staffing of buffet and specialty dining

Well in my opinion j.p. the president of Princess who's turning this brand into a below Carnival standard. This was my 17th Cruise and it is the cruise that made me think I should switch from princess

I hope it's just post-pandemic adjustments, but it seems Princess has cut back on its staff-to-customer ratio and quality of service seems to be suffering. We'll be back aboard in June with hopes things will be closer to what we were used to enjoying pre-pandemic. And the Medallion/ Medallion app was a real headache for us. It unlocked our cabin door just fine (And triggered the "portal" screens to remind me it was "my" anniversary several times - with no mention of my wife), but wouldn't let us re-arrange dining schedules to join with travel companions, wouldn't allow scheduling of a departure group, only showed My account folio charges & credits (which is problematic when my wife doesn't use a smart phone) and was just plain Non-functional on several occasions. Dining room servers had to take our wine order with pencil and paper - so did servers in the Explorers lounge. Kudos to the Supersonics! They are a great band that played Explorers & Fusion lounges with occasional appearances in the Piazza too. They kept us up dancing until well past our bedtime several nights, and we look forward to seeing them again when we cruise Alaska in June. (Their contract aboard the Ruby runs to July 9, they say)

Cruising on the Rudy Princess again in July to Alaska. Hopefully it will be a much better experience.

The medallion app is wonderful for Ordering drinks and food

Except for the embarkation, the cruise was very well run. The trip itself was cold, so we weren’t able to enjoy the outside. Ensenada was warm so we were able to enjoy the excursion.

Very disappointing. Service on the ship sub standard. Ship docked in container ports with nothing within walking distance. And they list all our luggage on Disembarkation.

thank god they have 2 restaurant than you pay for it and we can have 2 decent meal on 15 days we loose weight figure out
