Review summary

We set out to have a trip of a lifetime and make memories and that’s what we did! It was a great time filled with many adventures and we loved it!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarking was a breeze! No problems and we were able to board early!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food did not impress. In fact, we chose to dine in Alaska some nights due to the menu onboard. When we did eat in the dining room, it was just ok. Unfortunately, one night, the service wasn’t up to par as well.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the movie nights under the stars but we were so busy doing excursions, we didn’t get in much onboard activities.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedy shows!

Children's Programs

No children were with us.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was very nice and worked extremely hard to make it enjoyable! I would rate it a 5 except our waiter one night at dinner was not having a good night and it showed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean and maintained! It did see a little small in the common areas but still had a nice time on the ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was very impressed with the size and comfort of our cabin! Our steward kept our room very clean and we loved being out on the balcony as well!

Ship tip

Enjoy your time on the ship and visit the International Cafe as much as you can! Great food and it’s free!

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
Had a fabulous time touring Seattle! We loved Pike’s Place Market and did a food tour there! It was fantastic and we highly recommend it!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Did a whale-watching tour here and we loved it! Actually saw a whale breach! The employees on the boat were so kind and went out of their way to make it special!

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Our favorite port! We rode the White Pass train and loved it! The scenery was so breathtaking! The town was so cute and lots of fun!

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
The glaciers were phenomenal! So magnificent to hear the ice crack then fall into the ocean! One of the many wonders of God’s creations!

Ketchikan, Alaska

4 out of 5
In Ketchikan, we did an all-you-can-eat crab feast then rode in a seaplane over the area. Our original excursion was cancelled, which was the Misty Fjords seaplane. The crab was the absolute best we have ever eaten! However, we really would have liked to see more on the seaplane. It was a nice time, though!

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Didn’t think BC would be so exciting but it was beautiful! We ended up doing a pedal bike tour and had a great time! Our tour guide, Sati, did an excellent job of showing us the city, giving us some history, and keeping us entertained! It was a great time! Victoria was a beautiful city and we could definitely see ourselves living there!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was just as simple getting off the ship as it was getting on!

Alaska was our favorite cruise! Already planning on it again after our Hawaii cruise. Last time we did Tracy Arm, next time will be Glacier Bay
