Overall, this is the best first cruise I could have imagined. There was nothing bad about it! Highly recommend!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very organized, was a stress free experience.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Buffet: 6/10 Good selection, taste was good enough, fresh fruit! Not enough staff to keep tables clean or to provide drinks. Thankful for the main dining room, the staff was amazing! Traditional Dining was top notch food and service!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We participated in a lot of the Art gallery activities and loved every second of it. Observed a lot of the other activities & enjoyed watching them. Our favorite was Dancing with the Crew.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We really enjoyed all the performers/shows in the Princess theater.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Top notch. Not one single complaint.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was very clean & well maintained with the exception of the buffet. However, I think more staff would have helped with that.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Perfect size for 2 adults. We personally loved having the inside cabin. The beds were really comfortable. Inside cabin is perfect for those that only plan to use the cabin for resting and cleaning up. We spent most of our time outside the cabin enjoying the many things the ship had to offer.
Ship tip
Go to Tea Time because it is the most fun experience and the food is so yummy!
I listened to the advise from thousand who cruised before me and went on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad excursion AND I'm so happy that I did! Breathtaking views! Tip: The earlier you get in line means you'll get a chance to pick where you sit. Once you choose your train car that is it for the duration of the trip. No walking in between cars will be allowed but you will be able to stand outside in front and back of each car. We chose the very last train car and so glad we did! We had views of the front of the whole train when going around the curves of mountains which made for a great photo.
Loved Victoria! We went on a horse drawn trolley to tour the city. It was fun and very informative. The trolley isn't very comfortable to it may be difficult for those who can't sit in snug places for very long.
I agree! My first cruise was on the Ruby to Mexico last April. Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan. Took my kids. We all agreed everything was incredible but what stood out the most was the extremely pleasant crew members.
