Even though it was too cold to use the pools. The entertainment through out the day made up for it. I also decided to have acupuncture for the first time. Did 3 sessions. The total price came to what it would be back home, it's just the session price seems high. My back has been good since it was done 5 weeks ago. I did not buy the supplements, too expensive.
Princess is our new favorite cruise line, from the food, entertainment, quiet, clean, pleasant, to the crew and other passengers being kind an courteous.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
From the time we arrived in the parking lot to getting on the ship was maybe 30 minutes. Quickest I've experienced yet
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Best food we've experienced. Not too much variety. Everything was fresh. We did the anytime dining and met great people each night.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We did not get involved with any activities. We just like to watch others or sit back. But those that got involved seemed to enjoy them.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Saw things we've seen before and new types of entertainment. I think Princess hires some great talent.
Children's Programs
I don't have children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The most pleasant staff on a ship. One particular food service person was very friendly and helpful. The room steward talked a bit too long with us, but managed to get our answers and do an excellent job with our room and needs.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I don't recall seeing anything disturbing or out of place. The decor is modern. Many ships are designed from a decade or two ago.
Cabin / Stateroom

more than enough room for 2 people. First time in a mini-suite. Loved having a couch, bath tub, mini fridge, and full closet space. Wouldn't change a thing.
The city is beautiful. Food prices are high. Tour guide personnel is very educated on the subject they tour. We did the whale watching. Didn't see but a couple baby whales and sea lions, but it was fabulous.
The city is fairly big. We did the bus/train excursion. The train was nice but the conductor did not talk much at all about what we were seeing. The bus guide was very knowledgeable, he plans to move to Skagway from Florida permanently because he and his family like it that much.
We did the rain forest/totem pole excursion. It did not last but 2 hours, including the driving. But the tour guide is a native and was able to educate us on everything she saw or we saw and asked questions.
Very beautiful. We arrived at the port at 7pm but did not get off the ship until 730pm due to customs needed to release the ship. Even though the line went from the middle of the ship to the other end it was quick to get off. They have 3 exits to get people off the ship as quick as possible. We did not do an excursion because the only ones available were tours. We did the touring on our own. Lots of walking. If you get a souvenior try to pay all with Canadian money or credit card so you get the exchange rate, otherwise, they will give you Canadian money back. I paid with credit card. A $14 item ended up costing me $10 US dollars.
We were able to change our time to get off the ship with ease. Getting off the ship was smooth. We were suppose to be off the ship at 805, we got off at 820 and made it too luggage pickup and to our vehicle by 9 am. That's fast.
