Really study the deck plan. Even after being on this class of ship a lot, I would get turned around. When you exit the main elevator banks, you are facing the front of the ship.

To better enjoy the scenic part of the cruise, reserve a cabin with balcony on the left side ( called the port side) if you go southbound from anchorage And consider having some breakfast in your room looking outside ..

Don't go for the food.

Bring winter jacket

Prepare to be very frustrated with the app. Don't bother with room service.

Get to know the ship before you sail. It is a little tricky to get around.

If you are looking for rest this is your ship. If you looking for excitement go on another cruise

Would recommend Princess Plus. Not sure Princess Premiere was worth it. Princess Prizes wasn’t working on our cruise and the desserts are pretty much a one-time thing. Reserved seating for shows wasn’t necessary. The WiFi was fast.

Alaska shore excursions sell out quickly so book them early and be prepared for the cost.. But they are absolutely the best excursions around.

Get a balcony on starboard side! Don’t miss glacier bay and especially College Fjord the highlight of the trip. You could also skip glacier excursions as you see a lot of glaciers close up in glacier bay and even more in. College Fjord

No accountability. Never again to use Princess Cruise

Have fun

Try for a mid ship cabin. Less walking to do. Definitely get a balcony room if sailing to Alaska

Make sure to reserve your dining ahead of time.

Take advantage of all the ships photographers but wait until the last few days of your cruise to select the best photos.
