Review summary

was not satisfied with the cruise. Food and desserts were awful. Main dining food was very disappointing. The steak was like rubber. not a very good selection.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food was very subpar compare to the other cruise lines

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
The activities were very subpar. There was hardly anything to do at sea

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The entertainment again was very subpar

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
THE ONLY THING I WOULD SAY IS TO MOVE THE ICE CREAM STATION INSIDE. IT IS TO COLD TO HAVE YOUR STAFF OUTSIDE SERVING ICE CREAM. THEN YOU HAVE THE GELETO STATION INSIDE CLOSING AT 10 PM. THAT IS THE STATION MAKING YOU MONEY, BUT YET YOU HAVE YOUR STAFF OUTSIDE FREEZING. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
NEED MORE STORES FOR A SHIP THAT SIZE.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was good, but would like to have the sofa in the room because no one want to come back and ALWAYS LAY DOWN.

Ship tip

If you are looking for rest this is your ship. If you looking for excitement go on another cruise

We sailed recently from Brisbane to Vancouver and thoroughly enjoyed the Royal Princess. Personally I thought the food was amazing and so much to choose from. The first part of our cruise the weather was really warm and we appreciated the ice cream station being close to the pools.

There's many reasons why cruise ships don't dock in Anchorage. Most experienced cruisers do their own homework prior to booking a cruise and know what to expect. Personally, we enjoyed the trip from Whittier to Anchorage.

I've been on many Princess ships and I thought the food was amazing. The Gelato is the only ice cream they charge for and that is inside, while the soft serve is outside and free. You obviously failed to do any research when booking this cruise, so to blame the cruise line for not having activities that you want is on you. I've had great times on Princess ships, so maybe you should find a cruise line that best meets your needs.

Wow. Never our experience on Princess. Their desserts, especially the Norman Love ones are amazing. Don’t see any reason to move the location of the ice cream. The ship sails in both warm and cool destinations…just go back inside when you get it.

Princess has always been known as having the older laidback crowd. Do your research and find a line that serves the atmosphere that best suits you. Thanks for sharing.
