Find a different cruise. We enjoyed the cruise excursions, but had too many negatives about the cruise ship to ever recommend it.

I don't recommend sailing out of Haifa. The port is chaotic. The sailing was geared toward a particular group of travelers (although it was not advertised in the States as such) and if you didn't fall within that group, your options were limited.

If you only drink Ice Americano, tea and water - don't waste money on drinks packages or even a coffee card. there's free ice, water , coffee and tea all day onboard. Another thing - you can bring one wine bottle per adult traveler on embarkation.

Don't expect what you get on the bigger ships, but it's an intimate experience where you're more likely to keep meeting the same people.

Try eating the food in the specialty restaurants if you can afford it. Otherwise, survive on the regular food.

If traveling on board Rhapsody of the seas make sure you focus on the destinations and not the ship. There are many other modern ships full of activities, restaurants and different shows that it would be easy to compare then to Rhapsody which is a smaller ship. In itself it is a very pretty ship and has its luxurious parts.
