Review summary

Overall, we had a fun cruise. One major note that greatly upset us was that we booked this as a "bucket list" 7-Day Panama Canal cruise going to Costa Rica then crossing the Panama Canal. Two weeks after we booked this, they changed the cruise and dropped the Panama Canal and Costa Rica. That was the only reason we booked this cruise. We were furious. We have been loyal Royal Caribbean fans, but because of this, we are going to look at another cruise line in the future.

Colon is a pretty dirty town, so there is nothing to see there, but they got us on to the ship efficiently.

Food and Dining

You can tell that they are definitely cutting corners more. No more lobster tails at dinner. Food wasn't as good as it used to be except for Izumi.

Onboard Activities

Since this is their smallest ship, there wasn't a lot to do.

Entertainment

No big Broadway shows or acts. We were one of only 200 some Americans on a ship that was filled with Latinos. Most of the entertainment was geared towards them. The reggae band was awesome though!

Best on-board staff of any cruise yet!

Ship Quality

Boat was clean, but it's the oldest RCCL ship and we could tell. One elevator not working at all, rust in a bunch of place, ripped shower curtains and drapes. I think this ship is at the end of it's life.

About normal for a cruise ship stateroom.

I would recommend a bigger boat with more things to do.
