This Southern Caribbean Cruise is perfect for someone who loves the beach and the Virgin Islands. This ship, although smaller and older is perfect for intimate service. Try not to go when school is out for kids!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
So very organized! All you had to do was practice patience, stay cool and follow directions. There were overganbized
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The Main Dining Room was so elegant, the waiters were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The Buffet was lively, super casual and the food was good and filling. All you can eat for sure! I always got a seat by the windows because I loved the ocean views.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Sailing our of Puerto Rico, the children all had a ball .Most of the onboard activities were overtaken by them, but that was okay because I don't usually do pools on ships. I go for the ocean! Exercise is out of the question, I plunge in the ocean for fun and relaxation!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I heard that the performers were excellent, but I was too tired after shore excursions, hiking up mountains to volcanoes and riding open air jeeps to waterfalls, and fighting crashing waves to stay awake for an auditorium show.!
Children's Programs
On this voyage, it was just me and my 65 year old nephew celebrating our birthdays.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service was the best!, Really, there was nothing you could ask for that they didn't quickly provide. The service Was Truly Royal!!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
With my digestive system, I had to know where and be able to locate all restrooms! No problem! And so clean and well maintained!.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
At first, I was concerned, because I ordered separate beds for my nephew and myself. But upon return f rom dinner on the first night, the beds were separated, and sleep was a pleasure that night and all nights! The balcony was so nice, I almost slept out there, but the ocean was a little rough and I didn't want to tumble over. ( probably just my overactive imagination)
Ship tip
Make sure you are onboard the ship at least two hours before the Captain requests!!
Per Royal Caribbean suggestions, we booked an overnight hotel before cruising. That gave us the night and morning before to visit P.R. beaches and shopping centers.
Although I was told that Coral World attraction was under repair and therefore not available for me, I decided to spend the day at Coki Beach! What an experience!.
Almost the best Island tour of the cruise! Rogers travel tours agents, Crystal our guide and Derrick our driver, made this Waterfall Jeep Safari trip most memorable and fun!
Relaxing until our group number was called, then the mad rush to find your luggage, then the air conditioned van to the airport. Just let me say, this entire trip is NOT for the wheelchair bound, other than that, please go and enjoy yourself!!
