My group of 20 family members had fun of this 7 day cruise on board Rhapsody of the seas. The service staff did a great job accommodating us in the main dinning and other areas. The ship although 27 years old it's still pretty and has it's luxury look in some areas. Food and entertainment was good but yes I guess it's fair to say that it could've been better.
Rooms and facilities were cleaned daily. Overall a great experience for the family.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Mostly good with some issues about getting off the ship afterwards. My group of 20 had a 12 noon check-in boarding time and the idea was to drop our bags and get off the ship to keep exploring Old San Juan. The staff on the ship and in custom gave us a hard time about us getting off the ship for an unknown reason. It was not the best way to start our vacation.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was good considering that it's being cooked for the ballad of thousands of people. Sometimes it could be bland in flavor but overall good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We did all the activities possible including rock climbing, fitness, pool and shows. Some where better than others but overall good.
Entertainment
5 out of 5

Children's Programs

They found it fun.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service and staff did great.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Cleanliness was really good considering it was a 27 years old ship. It is notable in some places that the age is getting to it but still it was very good.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was just big enough to accommodate us. Had everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable.
Ship tip
If traveling on board Rhapsody of the seas make sure you focus on the destinations and not the ship. There are many other modern ships full of activities, restaurants and different shows that it would be easy to compare then to Rhapsody which is a smaller ship. In itself it is a very pretty ship and has its luxurious parts.
