Great trip to Hawaii on this ship. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. Although I was not into most of the activities (I find them a tad cheezy) there was enough to do and the numerous days at sea were great for me. Entertainment was so-so but the piano bar entertainer was the best. Great trip.

This is a beautiful ship - well maintained and well-run. It is probably the best cruise ship we have ever been on. They had many excursions for handicapped people which was wonderful for us because my husband was confined to a wheelchair. We were even able to take a helicopter trip! Holland American is the best cruise line for handicapped people.

I took my children on this trip. So I had a inside cabin across from their suite. Both rooms were perfect. There were so many things to do which was wonderful. We went to all the night shows and they were great. Like I said this was my fifth cruise ( one was on the Crystal to Alaska and it was very dissappointing for the price). Just keep up the good work.

Cruising with Holland America is a MUST. The ship, the crew, the FOOD, omg THE FOOD, everything was excellent. The crew does a great job, they are hardworking and always with a smile on their faces.

Oh my Goodness- First time ever on Holland America-1. Food was amazing 2. Entertainment was pretty good. I had a blast in the casino and poolside with the games and activities going on. There was great bartenders who really got to know you and ask you how you were as well as a few good LIDO deck cooks. The service on the ship can most definetly be better, but other than that it was really good! We only had one problem with the DJ at the Piano bar, which was disappointing. But the ship was overall good! We had a relaly good time!

Over all we were well pleased with the whole package (travel arrangements, luggage handling, check-in, ship, crew.)

We loved everything about the cruise - food, shows, friendly staff, stateroom with a balcony so we could watch the sunset/sunrise with our coffee/breakfast from our room, etc. I was not sure if my husband would like cruising since it was our first cruise. I choose the 7 day cruise because if he didn't like it and wouldn't go again at least I had 7 days! However, he loved it and wants to go again! I am thrilled! Much fun and relaxing! No lines or waiting. Organized and everyone seemed to care if we were having a good time.

We are seasoned Mariners age 58 and 60, and we have been on Windstar to europe as well as The Norwegeian. By far our last 6 cruises on Holland America have been the best. The staff, food, and our balcony were wonderful. Oosterdam is wonderful.

I have cruised on the Oosterdam many times ,we cruised out of San Diego to the Mexican Riviera for 7 days , good food and smooth sailing. The ship stayed over night in Puerto Vallarta ,one of my favorite ports.

Very relaxing, and was impressed at how friendly the staff was to everyone, and I think in turn made everyone on the ship friendly.

San Diego to Mexican Riviera 7 days on the Oosterdam, this cruise we went to Cabo , Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. On this cruise the Capatain of the Oosterdam gave me my 100 days at sea Medallion.

I took my 87 year old mother on her much anticipated cruise to Alaska. Ship, crew, food and schedule was wonderful. she had a fabulous time and thats what I was aiming for. Thank you Holland America.

My husband and I just got back from our first cruise ever and the Oosterdam was a great choice, our cruise was fantastic. The ship, crew, food, and activities were outstanding.

My first cruise and I am ready to go again. I loved everything about it, from the room to the food and entertainment.

We recently sailed on the Oosterdam to Mexico and were very pleased with the whole trip. The staff at each venue were so accommodating to us, our room stewards Agus and Hotlas were great and always cheerful calling us by name. Anything we asked for they gladly supplied. Our experience to the Pinnacle Restaurant was a memory to remember as we celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary. The service was top notch and food exceptional. Even though we saw some of the entertainment before on another cruise, it was still enjoyable. The dancers were fantastic, comedian so funny and nice to hear one who doesn't use vulgar language.

We had never been on a cruise before and didn't know exactly what to expect. It was amazing. We loved the food, the room was so cozy and the crew were so nice. We always got into the dining hall quickly and didn't have to wait. The food was excellent.We just hope we will get to go again soon because it was our best vacation ever. We went to celebrate our 40 Anniversary on June 27. What a cruise!

Great Trip. Food was fabulous and the ship was kept in lovely condition. I was under the impression that Holl Ameri was at the top end of cruise ships but the clientele included many children and a sort of lower budget crowd than expected. Very casual which suprised.

The ship was clean and beautifully decorated. Signs at each elevator really helped us get oriented. We felt very well informed by overhead announcements and updates about what to expect upon disembarking or taking tender boats to the shore.

This is only our second cruise and our first with Holland America, but wow! From beginning to end, the Oosterdam exceeded our expectations. This was the 7-Night San Diego to Mazatlan to Puerto Vallarta to Cabo San Lucas to San Diego trip. We had a VA-category balcony stateroom on Deck 7 (Rotterdam Deck) in the Port-side aft section. The Cabin Steward was amazing, the Dining at the Vista Lounge was superior, the food selection on the Lido Deck was outstanding. The entertainment was spectacular. I will quickly run out of superlatives to describe this trip. We indulged ourselves with a Spa package and couples massages in between our self-organized shore excursions. We will absolutely sail with Holland America again.
