There were never any lines for anything except being first in line for the 7:30 show so that we could get our same seats in the 2nd row every night.

Don't go near the children's pool. We were on one of the islands, no one was around. Another woman and myself were sitting by the children's pool. We were told, not asked, that we were not allowed near that pool. No one was around, it was hot. We were treated very rudely.

The ship Norwegian Sun was great ,It is not one of their larger ship but that is what make this ship great. It was more relaxing with less of a crowd ,at the pool side and all around the ship........would go bake on this ship............

In Juneau, take the public shuttle (20$) at the port to see Mendenhall Glacier. We paid too much (~50$) for an American Airlines tour that felt rushed.

The captain got a close as possible to the Glacier he was an excellent captian. We entered ship early and left with our own luggage easily when the cruise ended

Do not go on the Sun. It needs dramatic work and you will be disappointed. Find a better ship.

There is more than one buffet on Deck 11 besides the Garden Café. Much of the same breakfast food was served around the corner in Moderno, including omelet & waffle stations. It was so much less crowded in there that the omelet chef remembered my exact preferences and it was easy to get a table.

In general we think that the specialty dinners very good but not WOW! I would probably not consider the extra charge if I would repeat this trip.

If you are old and have no taste buds then this is the ship for you. If you have no kids then you may be ok with this ship. It is not crowded so that was nice. If you have kids you will be very disappointed.
