Review summary

Was an okay cruise, next time will be on different cruise line.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Had to select a 30 minute window to arrive for embarking but then had to wait an hour to be let onboard with everyone else based on boarding group.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Most Food was good, sushi was great. Bars were confusing as to which were 24 hour service. The bars that were the most convenient were not 24 hours and had weird opening times.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
This was a small ship so there wasn’t much to do.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The magician was good, as was the vocalist. Comedian was okay. Did not go to the other shows.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
A bit cramped for 4 but was manageable. Steward did excellent keeping it tidy.

Ship tip

This ship rocks/sways more than other cruise ships. Beware if you get sea sick.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

1 out of 5
Seattle has gone downhill. Open use of fentanyl, using the restroom in public, etc.

Juneau, Alaska

4 out of 5

Skagway, Alaska

3 out of 5
Not much to do. May have been better with excursion but those are pricey.

Haines, Alaska

2 out of 5
Many of the shops are closed for good and looking to sell buildings.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

1 out of 5
This is a day at sea disguised as doing something. The glacier was okay to view but would have enjoyed more time in ports (Victoria mostly)

Sitka, Alaska

3 out of 5

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

1 out of 5
I am not sure why this exists as a cruise port.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

2 out of 5
Wasn’t able to spend much time here. We were only allotted 5-6 hours and most things weren’t open due to day of arrival (apparently it was the day of rest). Also, didn’t help getting berated by a local for the decisions of the cruise line.

Victoria, British Columbia

We only had 3 hours here. Would of loved more time. Very beautiful city, very walkable.
