Ship was great, food was great, staff was great, ports were great. Would probably cruise during a different time of the year if I did it again, as we literally saw 0 wildlife during the entire cruise. Would have liked more indoor activities during ship days, and missed having dress up nights.

It was too cold or rainy for most outdoor activities offered. Most indoor activities were listening to music, playing trivia games, sudoku and crossword puzzles. I was a bit bored.

Cabin was comfortable and plenty of storage. Cabin Steward was awesome.
We did "Best of Sitka" excursion. Very pretty and clean town. Unfortunately the bears and eagles were in captivity. Beautiful trails to wander about in Sitka National Historical Park.
We did the "Mendenhall Glacier Explorer" excursion. Beautiful views of mountains and the blue glacier ice. Town has pretty shops, gorgeous flowers and a gondola ride.
I did the "Gold Fever and Sled Dogs" excursion. Very interesting to learn about the gold rush and see the machinery used back then. Learned how to pan for gold too. The story about the Iditarod was astounding and getting to hold the puppies was the highlight of my day. You always need some fur baby love and kisses when you're away from yours. ;) The town has some interesting and unusual buildings and great views of surrounding area. Could have spent some more time in town.
Did the "Spasski River Valley and Wildlife" excursion. Unfortunately we did not see any wildlife at all. Plenty of other things to see though. The salmon cannery was interesting and the gondola rides were fun. Would have done the longest zip line if I was younger. ;)
So glad you enjoyed the cruise, gave a positive review and didn't focus on the one negative. What a great review of all ports also. Thanks for that. I'm now looking fwd to NCL Sun in August.
