Everything was great, service exceptional. The one thing was embarkment day, not enough staff to process everyone in a timely manner.

It was my first Norwegian cruise and I was truly disappointed. I could not believe how overbooked it was in a pandemic and with the lack of staff available. The communication around the closure of the kids area was super late. If you know it'll be June 2022 until it opens, market it correctly. Also, if you promise additional kids activities, fulfill your promise. The process to get in and out of the boat was chaotic and unsafe. I probably won't take another cruise from this company. Very disappointed!

The ship is beautiful with plenty to keep you busy. Very well maintained and great staff.

I've been on 10 cruises and this was by far the worst one that I have ever been one. This was my first, and will be the last, on Norwegian.

The ship was understaffed and the quality of experience was underwhelming. Chaotic and sllllloooooowwwww embarkation, long lines for everything, limited services and amenities, lackluster food. Ship should have departed NYC at 4pm, we did not leave until after midnight due to abysmal embarkation experience with 4-5 hour waits. Completely missed our first port of call because of late departure. Most staff seemed new / clueless. Overall morale on boat was pretty low staffwise- everyone seemed stressed and unhappy. Long waits in dining rooms (75 minutes for scrambled eggs). Buffet was always full, chaotic, and lacking in variety. Specialty dining was decent but staff very forgetful / slow to respond to requests (could I have some more water please?). Disappointed in the entire onboard experience - just poor management, poor quality. This was a spring break cruise and the kids club was closed and we weren't notified of that until a couple of weeks before departure. As a consolation prize, each kid was given a $100 credit at the arcade. BUT, only certain arcade games qualified and those had long, long lines and were often inappropriate for younger children. Norwegian should be embarrassed about the experience they gave guests and should consider a refund or credit to all of those onboard.

if I have to grade the cruise experience I would give it a C- due to no control of the crowed, poor job providing information to customers, weak entertainment and food. due to this experience it will take me a while to cruise again.

Our cruise was great after getting on the ship after standing in line for 7 hours. We were never told why or given any discount for not leaving on time and missing one of our port of call.

Worst vacation I have ever taken. It was stressful and very unsafe!!!

All in all a pretty terrible experience and I love cruises. Norwegian is the WORST! If you want to have a great time on a cruise go with Carnival and sail out of Miami.

It will be a long time before I do another cruise.

This cruise was disappointing. on many levels. i have decided that I may not travel on Norwegian and use another cruise line for my next cruise. However, i have not entirely wash my hand off Norwegian. I will try again when they figure out how to better accommodate their guest. It rained a lot to no fault of theirs, but how made up for the rain ruined activities was unacceptable. The embarkation experience was unbearable. They did not seem to know what they were doing.

We had a great time food was great, staff was exellent made us feel at home, can't wait to return to the Getaway in the future😍🥰

Mediocre cruise, although I have nothing to compare it to. Took 4 hours to get checked in due to a very inefficient check-in process. Tried to see some of the shows but because of the number of people on board was not able to get tickets or get there early enough to see any. Crowded on board. Small jacuzzis were always full of people. Difficult to find tables some meals. Food was good, but nothing spectacular.

Please please DO NOT Waste your money on NCL. Please chose a better cruise line.

We had a great time. I bought both spa passes and vibe beach club passes. The vibe was more worth it. Though things were not always perfect, we were happy to be there and nothing was wrong enough to be upset about. The staff always did their absolute best. Guests were not always kind to them. They were stuck trying to wrangle a bunch of unruly teenagers that were clogging stairwells and people who were taking up a bunch of chairs they weren’t using while trying not to make anyone mad. Most of the issues were caused by guests and not crew. We gotta be nicer to service workers. The thermal Spa was okay, but I don’t know if I’d buy passes again. It’s not very relaxing. It’s very echoey and crowded. We did use it for sure, but it was always a struggle to find somewhere to sit because other guests would put belongings on the heated loungers and padded chairs and leave them there for hours without coming back. The vibe was much better.

Spending 4 hours to get on a ship, 3 hours for tender to/from private island and not having kids club really killed the fun.

Was wonderful getting away and back on a cruise, very relaxing.

Overall we had alot of fun and would like to go to other ports maybe Alaska. See some wildlife and whatnot.

This is our first cruise back after the pandemic. We enjoyed it immensely! We love Norwegian cruise line and we enjoyed this ship. We were in heaven for a week! 💕
