Don't expect great meals. You might even end up losing weight.

For example: Don't order 24/7 pizza they taste bad, not worth it! Early reservations at specialty restaurants is better than late. Iced teas and lemonades are free on the ship, but you have to ask! They have laundry specials after 2-3 days into the cruise, wait for those.

Take a few hours to find where everything is. Go a little later to sit down dining, not as crowded, also best time for breakfast is later in the morning, No problem getting into any of the shows.Only complaint is when the show starts they should not let anyone else enter, to distracting.

During the 4 days at sea could not find a chair near pool at any time. Boring and few entertainments at the pool deck during that time.

I always bring a battery operated alarm clock. I like to see what time it is when I wake up (especially in the night!) I also pack a small battery operated fan (desk top size) because we like to sleep very cool and often the air conditioning doesn't do it for us.

Spinnaker lounge gives you beautiful views of the ocean and a great place for drinks, seating, lying down and snoozing indoors if its cold. The garden cafe is the only buffet style dining we used on the back of the ship. Great for lunches

Yes bring a watch. Download some films on your IPAD the tv choices are terrible.

Dress code for the Great Pacific restaurant is published; but, definitely not enforced. BIG ship with some front to back passage issues (not all floors have inside, direct flow front to back). Captain and crew were great. North Atlantic can be a rough ride!!
