Caribbean Cruise

Sail Date: March 18, 2015

Room Type: Suite

A little chilly the first days out of NY but better then being at home. Stops in San Juan and Tortola are too short to really do any thing on the islands. Food and entertainment were good. The crew was very good and the captain's announcements were informative and funny. Been on the Gem 3 different times. Much better ship then the Breakaway.

Ship Quality
Ship is in good condition but could use a little sprucing up.
Food and Dining
Many choices.
Entertainment
Out TV went out and it was fixed withing minutes after we reported it to the steward.
Children's Programs N/A
Onboard Activities
There was always something to do.
Destinations and Excursions
Never been to Caribbean before. Beautiful.
New York, New York
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Seeing homeless people sleeping on the post office steps was sad.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
All the islands are beautiful. Just try to ignore the poor areas.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Tip

Been on 3 different NCL ships. The Gem is our favorite.
