Review summary

This was our first Norwegian cruise. The food on the ship was not more than okay (at best) any day. There are a lot of fun activities for people of all ages, but there is something they are trying to sell you almost everywhere on-board. The staff was pretty rude for the most part—with a few exceptions... The exceptions were very kind and helpful!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Bland. Monotonous. Not much variety. Same menu in both main restaurants. Let down.

Onboard Activities

Don't always know what you're going to... Could just be another sales pitch.

Entertainment

Something for all ages.

Service and Staff

Hit or miss... usually miss. Marvin, our cabin stewart, was great! A small handful of the server staff was good. Otherwise, rude or "salespersony".

Cabin / Stateroom

Hall light came through peephole in door... SO annoying. I had an allergic reaction to the bedding (probably the industrial cleaner they use).

Ports of call

New York, New York

Slipped on top step because it was wet. Way to busy, chaotic, unorganzied.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We went to the restaurant where the Pina Colada originated. SO GOOD. Get the mofongos!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Tourist crap trap. Don't buy the special tanzanite rings. By $700 they mean $692 profit for them.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Beautiful island! $7/person round-trip from pier to beach, boardwalk, shops, etc.
