The ship was lovely as was the crew. Having a balcony to watch the ocean was very relaxing. The food was wonderful, and not huge portions, which we appreciated. 

  Our only issue was we got charged twice for the gratuities and one of our excursions. Took an hour on the phone to fix that once we got home. 

Nice ship, although I feel there was less areas for the adults. no acutal adult swimming area,  Swimming pool designated for adults was only for a limited time. The pool and water slides seem to close early.  Food was good.   The show the Million dollar Quartet was cancelled, other shows were ok .We seemed to wait for service more, since we had the Ultimate Drink Package. It seemed like we had to wave staff down when we were on the deck.  Inside was fine.  

We sailed on the Epic before Adult areas were better. 

We did have a great time, but would sail a different ship next time.  

I love being part of the Norwegian Family.I always find the crew to be upbeat ,happy, helpful,They have really upgrade their menus and the presentation of their food..Most other guest were also very impressed also.Especially from other cruise lines.

I had a very large outside cabin The cabin I was offered was cheaper than inside cabin.I find the crew has the ship as clean as whistle.

The crew goes out of its way to make sure the guest our happy.

Their next cruise program is also terrific.I still cant understand how people pass it up.

Had a great week on this cruise! Food and activities were great. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I rated at a 4 due to the boat being quite crowded and feeling the waves much of the week. I have cruised on smaller ships and have not found this. I suspect because the ship is so tall is the reason. With that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to book again! I just can't say enough about the activities staff. They were a blast! 

I had a blast on this ship despite the negative reviews, The only problem i had was with the elevators and 1 staff member at the Spice H20 Bar. He was VERY VERY rude to his male customers If you go look out for him hes an indian i think the only one at that bar IF they stay in the same place.

The staff...The ship itself , although to busy and noisy for myself and my wife had many wonderful quiet areas for us to enjoy.. If we had our family with us..They would have enjoyed the busy areas...the quality of the food, in particular the Specialty restaurants Second to none..And the staff and service at Taste and Savoy fantastic..We cannot wait to return..

Nice ship with a lot going on!!! Great parties and shows excellent food!!! had been on the Getawayblast year many of the bar staff were the same and it was fin reconnecting! The pool aren't big enough and love H20 adult only area during the day!! There also is another quiet area above H20 with bar and sprtiz   area. Need to make reservations ahead of the time for shows!! 

NCL Escape was an amazing ship....all around excellent service, accommodations, food, drinks, excursions in port, and entertainment. W are already planning our next two vacations with NCL!!!!

New Ship, balcony room was roomy, plenty of storage. Service and staff was great.  Entertainment was OK, but not as good as on several other cruise lines.  The best show, was the Dueling Pianos, Owl to the Moon, they were great.  The large cafeteria garden dinning area, had a large selection but some of the food, which should of been hot was warm or cold.  The Fine Dinning Restaurant was disappointing.  We could not complete the meal, very salty, type of fish served was not as described.  Being from Florida, for the past 27 years, we have learned a little about fish.  If you have a Dinning Package, not everything on the menu is included, some meals you have to pay extra.  We had breakfast in the Savoy, very good.  On the last three days, we found the Food Republic ( not included in the food package, extra fee), but reasonable and well worth it.  We eat there for lunch and dinner, staff and service was great.  A lot of the passengers, didn't know about this Restaurant, located in corner of the ship.  We told everyone, that complained about the Restaurants. If you want a trip, with  minimum number of children and teens  (there were about 1000 registered teens on this ship and they were allowed  in the hot tub). There's only one medium size pool, and just for adults until 5PM.  I want to say again, the staff and service was great, but they need help on the other items.  Yes, most cruise line, allow you one bottle per person in your room (two per room) with no fee.  Not so with this cruise line, they charge $15 per bottle, when you board.  They have other supprise fees, read your charges.

I fully enjoyed the dining that was offered. The buffet (where we spent most of our time since we have kids) was above average. On the whole it wasn't "buffet food". We dined in a few of the other restaurants as well and they were very tasty. The bars offered were also great. Have a mojioto or 3! They are fantastic! I had purchased the drinks package so I can't comment on the cost. We didn't have the soda package also but were never given a hard time on the few occasions that we ordered a coke. My kids never went to the Kids Club so I can't comment. It looked quite nice and well organized but my girls' don't like being away from Mom. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The ports of call weren't my cup of tea but the ship was amazing. We also didn't go out at night though my kids did enjoy the arcade. Mostly we ate and swam. 

This was our first trip on a Norwegian cruise.  I'm still not sure how I feel about the freestyle dining.  I found that the 3 dining rooms were too fancy in their food choices for us and the other places you had to pay to eat there.  I also didn't like the fact that in the dining rooms you have to pay for steak and lobster when on many other cruises it's included in the price of the trip.  We mostly at between the buffet and O'Sheenan's pub.  The food that we did eat was delicious.  There were enough onboard activities to keep our teenagers busy.  Our balcony room was spacious.  Some of the other passengers on board were rude at times.  We were trying to take formal pictures on the staircase one night when people kept going up and down the stairs interfering with the photographers job.  They would not wait until the photographer finished the picture and would barge through the scene.  We felt that the ship should have closed off that portion of the staircase for the brief time they were taking pictures to avoid this happening.

The ship was great,the mini suite was awesome, the food was great and service was also great.The charging for Wifi ,plus the using the sauna for an extra charge  plus there wasn't a spectacular disco anywhere. Sorry Mr Pitbull my Wife and I aren't coming back to NCL

we have a wonderfull time excellent // the ports were magnificent,the food was excellent,the room very clean and neat,the entetermeint was superb,and overall we have a good time.

had a great time. Beautiful ship  very friendly staff. waiters  remembered  what  i had order  days before, Several staff members  went  above  and  beyond.When I mentioned to  the  Hotel Director  that  children where in  the  adults only  area he quickly  discharge  staff  to police the area and asked  guest to  remove  their children.

This boat was way too crowded. Lines for food, lines for slides, shoulder to shoulder in the pool and hot tub. You have to get up at 6:30am just to reserve a chair. Staff service isn't great. Norwegian upcharges everything. 13.50pp per day for gratuity but that DOESN'T include bartenders. Music obnoxious and shows weren't great. Karoke was all kids! Never again!

This was my first cruise and overall was a great experience. The service was top notch from everyone in the ship and specially from our Cabin Steward, who had great attention to detail and went above and beyond. 

The Thermal Suite was great and worth paying for the upcharge for the whole week. The food was amazing at all the specialty restaurants that we tried (Teppanyaki, Moderno and specially Bayamo) as well as the main dining rooms (Manhattan Room, Taste and Savour). The shows Vocal Overdrive and After Midnights were great.The biggest complaint about this ship would be the fact that there's only two small pools for a ship this size. And we were unlucky to get a room the first night that had an ongoing thumping on the ceiling that came from pipes or something like that. They did changed us to stateroom in a different floor and things were great thereafter. Dealers at the casino were very engaging also. All in all I would book again with Norwegian, maybe just not this ship, because of the pool situation. 

THE ESCAPR GREAT WELL MAIMTAINED AND OFFERS EVERYTHING  TO ACCOMADATETHE  PASSANGERS  FROM A WATER SLIDE FOR THE CHILDREN TO EXATOIC AND DELECIOS CUSINE FOR THE ADULTS  OUR 7 DAY CRUISE  WHICH IS THE SECOND SAILING FOR BARBARA AND I ON THE NCL ESCAPE WAS GRATER THEN OUR FIRST SAILING  THE NCL PERSONAL GO OUT OF THER W=WAY TO ACCOMADTE MOST NEEDS  THE CUSINE IN THE RE FRENCH RESTARANT  IS AS GOOD AS PARIS THE  EXCEPIONAL  PAMPARING BY THER MATERDES  ESPECIALY

ADRIAN  DIMITRU  WHO WELCOMES MOST GUESTS  WITH HOSSPITALITY THAT IS ABOVE THE CALL  THE SHIP S PERSONAL KNOWS HOW TO MOVE THE CROWD EFFIENTLY 4000 PEOPLE ON SHIP  YET NCL HAS IT HANDLED . WE HAVE CRUISED WITH A COUPLE OTHER LINES  AND NCL IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS  

Amazing ship with plenty to do. I really enjoyed the Atrium, which is like a huge living room, where everyone gathered for events on board. A lot of changes since my last cruise-some good, some not so good-but it will take some getting used to. I'm on the hunt for my next cruise with NCL.

Overall, i would say this trip was a positive experience. The food was excellent. My 76- yr old mother and I take a cruise every year around our birthdays and always include the specialty restaurants and the ones on board were very good. Advice - book reservations early. We enjoyed the complimentary show offered; "After Midnight" but expected more high caliber entertainment beyond 1 show. The suite we had was very tight and we could barely get her walker (not a wheelchair but a fold- up walker) through the door. Not to mention that the hallways are very narrow and if there was anything in the hall like cleaning carts or luggage, she could not get around them. The entire staff was very friendly. But I have to say that EVERYONE on the boat was less than pleased with their luck in the casino (tables and slots). I'll just leave it at that andnot make any accusations.

Had an amazing time with my husband and our friends.  My review would be significantly different if we had not been able to get the Vibe Beach Passes.  Roberto & Rowman (bartenders at Vibe) made our entire vacation. Food was incredible and ship was very clean and modern.
