This cruise was the worst i will never go on the escape again or NCL. For now on Royal Caribbean is where ill be.

We enjoy NCL and have never had any real issues. Each time we cruise we learn new strategies that help us to maximize our vacation experience. The entertainment is always enjoyable and the talent is great!! You can choose to do as much or as little as you want. But there are always options.

We had some really good memories, but unfortunately most of them were not very good. This cruise line is not meant for a young family.

We truly love the Norwegian Escape. Our inside cabin was so dark that we slept like babies. After two cruises on the Dawn and six on the Gem we were afraid the Escape would feel too crowded. It was during the muster in the atrium and we wren't used to having to make show reservations but by the morning of day two we knew that we were in for a great time. Lots of bar bands that were very good. Our only complaint would be that there was almost no 50's doowop and traditional country music.

we loved everything about the Escape. This was our fourth Norwegian cruise, we’ve been on the Breakaway, Getaway (loved them) and the Epic (you can keep it, didn’t care for this ship). We have seen some of the quality of food and the drinks going downhill compared to where it used to be where the UBP and the dining packages were preferred with bookings, it’s commonplace and not the same. But we had a great time!

We loved the promotions! Premium beverage package, wifi, specialty dining, and more!

Had a great time. Everyone should try a Norwegian cruise. We will absolutely take one again.

Overall, we had a great time. The poor weather was a problem, and not just because we came out of New York, but that wasn't the fault of the cruise.

Imagine winning the $500.00 Park West Gallery Art Auction Grand Raffle but get nothing for it? That's what happened to us. The $500.00 grand raffle was drawn after the last auction. Park West Gallery Art Director Boris on the Escape tells us there is nothing we can put our winning $500.00 to unless we want to spend $400.00-$500.00 out of our own money. There were many items auctioned off for $500.00 and less. Park West Gallery is a scam, STAY AWAY!

I went on this cruise with my best friend for our last Spring Break trip during college. We had the time of our lives. There were many other college students sharing similar experiences that made it one of the best vacations I have ever taken. There was always something to do, the staff was incredibly helpful and lovely, and the boat just made vacation enjoyable from the wide variety of options available.

Managing the movement and feeding of the thousands of passengers was very well done. Staff were very pleasant, and well trained. Cleanliness was very good. Food and drink surprisingly good (do get the beverage package or you will pay pay pay). Entertainment very good. Good variety of activities, though some were crowded, others requiring additional payment. Inevitably, when you land in a port you overwhelm the local area--this did not sit well with us and we won;t be cruising again, even though the onboard experience was relaxing and well managed.

1st nt ship almost flipped service bad breakway is the best I work hard all yr for this trip of 3000 bucks we got screwed

9 people were injured on the ship when we were hit by the 115 MPH wind. If you were in your cabin, you were ok. Lots of damage to public areas. Broken glasses in cabin and I fell and slid half the length of the cabin. No serious injuries to us.

This was the first cruise experience for my friend and her children. Throughout the cruise I apologized to her for how bad it was. I was embarrassed that she paid so much for such a poorly designed room and that they had to cram themselves into their stateroom. Service in the dining room was a nightmare as well. We had to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get water and a menu when we were the only people in the entire dining room. One night dinner took 3 hours - 3 hours!! I told my friend we will go on a Carnival Cruise next time so she can see what a real cruise experience is like.

Overall it was a vacation but not worth the $$$ or points. The ship is way too big and not enough amenities for all its passengers. Most people I spoke with while on the ship were also unhappy about their experience. Do not cruise out on NYC in the winter it kills 2-3 days and you are trapped inside with way to many people. All in all, I won’t be cruising with Norwegian ever again, I’ll stick with Royal Caribbean and Carnival.

No fault of the cruise line but I wouldn’t cruise out of New York in winter again, felt like we lost too many warm days.

Need better service overall. Food quality is not very good. They did not change the menu during lunch.
