we loved everything about the Escape. This was our fourth Norwegian cruise, we’ve been on the Breakaway, Getaway (loved them) and the Epic (you can keep it, didn’t care for this ship). We have seen some of the quality of food and the drinks going downhill compared to where it used to be where the UBP and the dining packages were preferred with bookings, it’s commonplace and not the same. But we had a great time!
Embarkation

Seamless and not much waiting at all! NY is always the easiest embarkation.Dri

Food and Dining

I think now that almost everyone has the beverage package and speciality dining package, the quality of the food has slipped a bit and the drinks seemed watered down. Can’t screw up a beer though!
Onboard Activities

We ladies enjoyed the spa twice and the men went on the slides and rope course. We all had fun!
Entertainment

Ship Quality

Love this layout, easy to follow and very clean. Restrooms were clean as were hallways.
Cabin / Stateroom

Enough room for two; always kept clean and neat and stocked by our steward, Sheldon. Oddly enough we didn’t actually meet him until the second to last day but the entire trip he took great care of us.
Ship tip
Main dining room is a lengthy meal; you can get the same meals in the Taste or Savor in a quieter atmosphere. (plus the Mixx bar is right outside these two restaurants and the bar tenders are awesome!)
Always a favorite stop for me. We swam (more like fed) the pigs on Treasure Island, and we had a great time. Tour guides were awesome and the animal were well cared for.
Nassau is Nassau; too many people and if you go outside the port area, you are on your own and i wouldn’t risk it. Too many advisories out there about the crime so we stayed in the port area, shopped at our favorite jewelers and had a great lunch at Sharkees.
