Would consider again, but maybe not our of New York in winter.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Manhattan terminal is busy and boarding areas can be confusing, but boarded with only a small delay.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Ate in the "included" dining areas. Dinners were great! Buffets had so many options. Wasn't a huge fan of the sports bar food.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Didn't participate in many activities.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Loved Choir of Man! Would see them again. After midnight wasn't a favorite. The dinner show was good, but felt super rushed while eating!
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
The was the third cruise we have taken with our 3 kids, and by far the best kids club! My littles would tell at me if I picked them up even 5 minutes early and wanted to go back as soon as they opened again. Loved the circus performance as well!
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
This is where NCL differs from other Cruise lines, regarding freestyle cruising. Service can be hit or miss in dining rooms, since your servers change, however, there are some that are too notch and we tipped them extra accordingly.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This boat was beautiful! 1st time on a mega ship, so stunning with tons to do
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had two connecting balconies for the 5 of us! No complaints at all.
Ship tip
Other than kids club and pools/slides, it is not as family oriented as carnival. But my hubby and I loved the free time, since the kids were at camp a lot. We enjoyed the craft brewery at night and the thermal spa!
Got a clamshell, they are in multiple rows and we were near the back, so it was a waste. Couldn't sit and watch kids at same time. Otherwise, beach was beautiful
We were worried after reading horror stories about getting out of terminal so we booked a late flight well, we walked right off early and ended up sitting at airport forever because of it.
