This was the vacation of a lifetime for all of us. We did shore excursions through a private tour company at each port (Shorebee) and arrived each night to outstanding service & accommodations.

Fantastic and worth every penny. I have no serious negatives. Both the excursions and the boat were top notch. The service on the boat was great, the food was good to great. I loved it.

I loved Barcelona Spain. The buildings, the architecture was amazing--the food was simply amazing and so much to see and do there-each stop on the cruise was breath taking! Naples, Civitavecchia(Rome),Livorno(Pisa & Florence), Cannes France and Palma de Mallorca. I wasn't to thrilled about the Norwegian Epic ship-the food was just ok, the mixed drinks in the bar were very weak and no liquor store on the boat for duty free shopping is just plain ridiculous and I hated the design of the cabin.

Im not a drinker/partier/gambler so this ship did not appeal to me as much. If you like to relax and do some trivia, take in some shows, Id suggest a Royal Caribbean cruise. Im blessed that I had this experience and the amazing sites I was able to see. But it is definitely only a one time deal for me.

Very disappointing being on the ship, the ports of call were the best part, the gym was also a bright spot. Need more more wait staff for food and drinks.

Overall, I will be going on this same cruise ship again and again. The ship, the entertainment, the food, the people were amazing. I had an amazing time. I can't say enough good things about this ship and the ports.

Nice cruise for first time cruise. See above for more in depth comments. I would probably do this again; I'm just not sure when as 7-days was a pretty long cruise for our first time.

This was a breeze to book and a great price, but I found it difficult to get back in touch with the person I booked with; she never returned any of my calls for follow-up questions.

The shower and toilet are open to the whole cabin. If you love hearing someone go pee or take a dump this is the cruise for you. No privacy either the shower is right by the door so if anyone opens it your butt is shown to the world. So displeased. Casino, they rob you blind. I was playing this coin push game where the prizes sit on top of the coins and it cost $5 dollars each swipe of your card to play. The $20 prize had 4 bills paper clipped together so I assumed it was 4 twenties because if it was 1 twenty with 3 ones then the game is not even close to being a gambling game it is an automatic losing game. Of course with this money grubbing cruise line it was $23 dollars which is extremely disgusting. When you gamble you should know the risks of winning and losing. Like blackjack or roulette you know the odds and the pay out. This was not gambling it was the Cruise line taking a lot of money from a lot of people.

We felt like every food option was bland, cold or boring. We honestly went to the buffet the last few days because that's where we found the freshest food.

Overall really enjoyable! Most of the staff was nice just the bartenders were always so rude and made it difficult to ever get a drink :( Pretty good entertainment on the ship and of course all the destinations were amazing. Didn't even need to pay for any excursions, you can just get off the ship and explore yourself really easily!

I love the Norweign Epic! This was my second time on this ship and I'd go again tomorrow. We had a smooth embarkation in a very short time. Cabins were great as usual. Entertainment was wonderful! The food was amazing! I read reviews encouraging to forgo the specialty dining but these were totally unfounded. This was an offer included in our cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The food was delicious and very plentiful! Drink service was slow at the Moderno but after talking with the maitre 'd it was perfectly understandable and we were good with his explanation. It didn't stop there. My sons are in the restaurant business so they understood completely. The maitre'd sent chocolate covered strawberries to all three of our cabins to make up for the slow service. He didn't have to do that but was enjoyed and appreciated by all. He went above and beyond to make up for something that was out of his control. Amazing cruise with amazing ports!

Some advise for NCL management. Something you should always remember about customer service, it takes more than having your staff address guests as sir or madam or have them say good morning or good evening to every guest they see. That is all well and good, but it has to go further than that to truly be Customer Service, there has to be sincerity and empathy towards someone with an issue, not just a pat response to what they think you are going to ask them or what they have been told to say with a tinge of annoyance in their voices. Give your staff an opportunity to have personalities and not be robots.

The stops were great and so much to take in and see. Boat was okay but we were disappointed in the food and dining for 75% of the time. Didn't have time to use spa but it looked nice. Internet was a big issue or lack thereof.

My husband and I cruise at least once a year. Our favorite line is NCL. We really enjoy the freestyle dining as well as NCL's entertainment. I do like some of their other ships more than the Epic but we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise.

We really enjoyed this cruise and thought it was a great way to get a taste of a lot of places. It was definitely a "go go go" kind of cruise as there was only one day at sea and we wanted to get off at every port.

Everything I statrd above, plus my cruise director, Pedro, was awesome. Very helpful, energetic, and knowledgeable. (To meet your minimum requirement of 150 characters.)

We loved the itinerary, and the cruise offered us a great opportunity to visit these ports. However, this cruise ship was too crowded, and the cruise line did not seem particularly adept at managing crowds. For example, when people were wandering around with food looking for a place to sit (buffets), a staff member should help direct guests to available seating. Also, the lines during crowded times should be managed in such a manner as to promote efficiency and discourage arguments between guests.

It was wonderful! We could not have asked for a more memorable 50th anniversary trip! We did not have one negative experience! Kevin Davis at did a fantastic job of recommending rooms, services and tours based on our likes and anniversary trip! Well done!

Being a proponent of less populated cruises, I was pleasantly surprised. The only negative, while it really didn't impact us, was the limited number of deck chairs around the pool and the lack of umbrellas for shade. We found deck chairs removed from the pool area, up against a wall of the ship in the blazing sun. We lasted about 45 minutes and returned to our own balcony.
