Review summary

The shower and toilet are open to the whole cabin. If you love hearing someone go pee or take a dump this is the cruise for you. No privacy either the shower is right by the door so if anyone opens it your butt is shown to the world. So displeased. Casino, they rob you blind. I was playing this coin push game where the prizes sit on top of the coins and it cost $5 dollars each swipe of your card to play. The $20 prize had 4 bills paper clipped together so I assumed it was 4 twenties because if it was 1 twenty with 3 ones then the game is not even close to being a gambling game it is an automatic losing game. Of course with this money grubbing cruise line it was $23 dollars which is extremely disgusting. When you gamble you should know the risks of winning and losing. Like blackjack or roulette you know the odds and the pay out. This was not gambling it was the Cruise line taking a lot of money from a lot of people.

I agree if u do your homework ahead of time, you pretty much know what your room layout is. We actually didn’t mind the odd bathroom layout. There is a door and a curtain so it was actually quite comfortable. And we’ve been married for 30 years, lol. Nothing to hide there, hehehehe

I've been on over 22 cruises and the Epic was the worst. Never on her again. Not enough room to list all my complaints. Loved the Norwegian Wind, Dawn and Sun.

have been on epic 4 times and have to complaints room was OK whats he expecting a shower room on its own but you always get someone moaning about something

I’ve been on Epic twice. Great ship apart from cabin layout. When NCL rang me after last cruise with them, I complained. They acknowledged my criticism & stated that as a result of so many complaints about this, they altered the layout on “Bliss” to the old cabin configuration. My current “Gripe” is the new itinerary- Azores. This means she will be taking a Northern passage across Atlantic. It won’t be very warm.

If you would’ve done a little bit of research before booking your cruise, you would’ve known about the split bathroom. And the casino ? Everyone knows they don’t pay on a Cruise Ship. Sorry, but those are on you. Epic is a great ship. Lots to do and great places to eat.

We loved the epic you should have done your homework before you booked 😬😬 we loved the cabin and there is a curtain you can pull right across and the toilet does have a door much better than being in together ! But it’s personal choice I guess 😊

We have been on the Epic as well and while we love NCL I will have to agree that this is the worst cabin layout ever. The design is horrible. We did feel that the slots in the casino were the best compared to any of there other ships.

I've been on the Epic.... loved it. Sorry you were so disappointed. The toilet does have a door, no one will just open the door, and there is a curtain by the shower. Gambling.... well you're on your own there😜you never win😂Cruising may not be for you.... just sayin' 🤔
