Food and Dining

The food was much better in the main dining for lunch and dinner then in our last Norwegian cruise.
However, the breakfast service three times was extremely slow. We would sit down and order and 35-45 minutes later our first plate. We would have coffee and drink 10-15 minutes after we ordered. One day, we told our lady server we wanted to order quickly as we had to go for an excursion. We had to leave as 40 minutes in all we had was coffee.
Specialty dinning. Great experiences and servers!
I was happy to see the buffet have a variety night for different cuisine specialities. Only ate a few time for breakfast in the buffet due to the bad experiences at Taste. I avoid the buffet as it becomes overcrowded and people are rude and pushy. I like it when the staff served it seemed to go better.

It works for the short term. I would say the couch is annoying as it is in the way taking up a lot of space.
Ship tip
Look into outside options for excursions. There are some really nice options (Trip Advisor) instead of going with 50 some people and being crammed into theatre to wait to walk out to the pier with everyone else.
Did a tour with Norwegian Coast to Coast. Just OK. The lady conducting the tour spoke clearly and pointed out things as the bus drove on by. A lot of sitting in the bus for just three stops.
We’d choose to go on our own. Appreciate having the options to choose.
The longest part is getting an elevator. They are jammed packed with so many people and suitcases.
I would suggest modifying elevator system on disembarking days to accommodated more elevators to go down.
Or if you allowed them to take your luggage if possible use stairs, it will be faster.
