I know it's already an expensive trip but be prepared to spend more while on board. Internet, speciality dining, and excursions are all upgrades (along with the arcade and some ice cream/coffee shops).

Find another ship. Drink Beer, it cannot be watered down. Rarely tasted Alcahol in drinks iunless we ordered top shelf.

Study the layout of the ship. Use the maps outside the elevators to familiarize yourself with locations of restaurants and services. Also, use the Freestyle Daily to mark the activities you're interested in. The Freestyle Daily is available on the app, but I like to see the paper version because I can write notes on it.

If you buy a package that includes gratuities, watch for the "additional," gratuitiy. Trying to get extra money when I've already paid for it made me less trusting of Norwegian

My suggestion is to pack Lite. I call it a rookie mistake to have 3 to 4 large suit cases for a 7 day voyage.....Rookie!

Sign up for specialty restaurants 45 days before boarding. And if so get the 2 or 4 day plan it’s cheaper. Get the Ncl app. And use tough screen TVs near elevators or the app.

Room service is not free. There is a service fee EACH time your order and the fee depends on which menu you use. Again, not a game changer but a clear surprise to several on board. Be prepared to be nickeled and dimed from start to finish.
