Overall impressions are that it is a nice ship and with a few minor adjustments could be a great ship and could easily provide a better cruising experience for all those involved.

This was our second Norwegian cruise. I really like not worrying about packing for formal nights and eating whenever I feel like it, instead of being tied to a time and place

We were warmly greeted as soon as we stepped onboard. I was traveling with my 20 year old, College Spring Break, Daughter and her friends, along with their Mothers. The Ship was able to accomidate the needs and likes of not only the "College Spring Breakers", but also us Mother's too! What I found was there is something for all ages, young and not as young. Our stateroom was always clean and ready for us, as if they actually knew our schedules. The cruise staff was always Happy, Informative, and always willing to help! It was a Great Experience for everyone in our group!!!

Variety of things to do on the ship. The staterooms were just fine - I was scared of the "smallness" that I've heard about and honestly - they were larger than I was expecting (we had an outside stateroom with a view).

The ship was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was spacious and elegant.

I purchased the soda card and still felt that the crew was disappointed that I didn't purchase a alcoholic beverage instead of coke. They weren't at all eager to refill my glass. Sorry, but I paid for this service. Also it the selling of "lotto" tickets before each show was tacky.

The ship is just beautiful and the service was top notch. We were treated like royalty.

Second time cruising with Norwegian Cruise Line. Staff is extremely helpful and always friendly. Everything was extremely clean as well!

I came on the cruise not knowing what to expect. It was my first cruise ever. The welcome party set the tone for what a great trip I had ahead of me. The energy of the crew and staff was contagious. Day after Day we met more and more people both vacationers and crew members. One particular server, "Kitty" as we called him became not just our favorite server but a friend we looked forward to seeing everyday.He truly made our trip better and we were excited to see his smiling face and positive attitude everyday. There was never a dull moment on my trip. We took advantage of all the ship had to offer during the day at the pool, sports deck, gym, game rooms, the poolside bar, and more. At night we went to dinner, shows, karaoke, the casino, and the Dazzles Night club. We all agreed we could not have asked for much more. The Norwegian Dawn

The ship itself was beautiful on the inside, always clean and polished. The service was excellent - I have no complaints there! And the entertainment was fun. But the ship's layout was confusing, the stateroom bathroom was really quite small, and the "freestyle dining" definitely isn't free.

I have been on many cruises and this was my third with NCL. I was very disappointed that they have chosen to tender their passengers off the ship instead of docking. I assume it is cheaper. It took 2 hours to get off the ship everyday and it left little time to spend on the islands. I have decided not to sail with NCL anymore. The ship is okay, but I prefer spending time on the island during the day.

This was our first cruise on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship. We enjoyed our vacation very much

The ship was very nice, excellent service from all areas. Excellent food, anytime you wanted it, room service was excellent for late night meals, our children truly enjoyed the children's programs. In fact, our son wanted to spend most of his time in the program doing all the fun things that they had lined up for his age group. The excursions were great. The staff helped us find the excursions that would best suit our family. We just had a wonderful experience during our Christmas holiday, the kids even saw Santa and received a gift from him on Christmas morning, along with having their photo with Santa. Will definately use NCL again. This was about the 4th cruise using NCL.

We loved the ship. It was beautiful, well laid out, very clean and tidy, and had a vast array of activities and locations. There was lots to do, great food to enjoy, and Norwegian made my parents 30th anniversary absolutely perfect. Also the painless Freestyle Disembarkation was AMAZING! We were off the ship and to our car in only 15 minutes and we could bring our luggage with us and leave whenever we wanted to.

The ship was great, I previously sailed on the Norwegian Star in October of 2008. I found the Dawn to be a bit "dirtier", there were always overrunning toilets on different floors, and my daughter's stateroom bathroom did not work consistently for 2 days. My daughter was travelling with her boyfriend and she had some issues with the some of the male staff members being "too friendly".

The ship was clean, staff was excellent and there were hardly any lines for anything!

We booked our cruise through Alaska with my parents (68 years old). By booking together we had hoped to be near each other on the boat, instead we were at the front of the boat and they were at the back. We wanted to be able to help them with their things and getting around and NCL was not able to accomodate us, nor was Alaska. Although I enjoyed how well the servers in the restaurants attended to us, I was unimpressed with the cleanliness of the ship. There were over flowing toilets on several floors throughout the trip. Sections of the boat would smell from this. My bathroom in my ocean view stateroom did not work consistently for 2 days, my boyfriend had to physically go to the front desk to get service as it had started overflowing. I was not impressed by a few of the male crew members as they seemed quite agressive and forward.

This is my sixth cruise and so far the best experience.Staff goes out of it's way to help they are super nice and accomodting.
