Pleasant, relaxing cruise. Good way to see New England and Canada

Our whole family are cruise lovers. He has taken ten cruises over the past dozen years. In this special period of the epidemic, in order to support the cruise industry. My husband and I attended the breakaway from Norway. Day 3 on board, “Savior “Restaurant (Level 6), 6th September 2022, 10pm, staff made racist remarks in front of us. We complained about this to the restaurant’s Manager (Christian Wtan #28987 )same night but got no response. We are very disappointed. To make Norwegian Breakaway even better, don't let something like this happen again. So I decided to file a complaint, hoping for an answer and a solution.

First time heading north instead of south. More chance of bad weather so pack accordingly. Average age of passengers was about 50 so events were calmer. Less of a party atmosphere. There was also a lot less shopping opportunities onboard compared to other cruises I've been on. When shopping for watches, there were only a handful of choices instead of the showcases I'm accustomed to. There were no on-deck t-shirt sales on the at sea day. The gift shop looked like it was closing down where most things were on clearance and the shirts were for other cruises in the Caribbean instead on the itinerary I was experiencing.

we sailed to the new England part of the US. and to Canada, the people in all ports were very friendly.

Great itinerary but ship lacks a few popular features!

Issues with drink package that and NCL did not want to address. Finally resolved by NCL corporate on day 5

We would likely do it again. While not perfect, we had a great time.

Norwegian getting cheesy with the premium drink package. Some brands now are an up charge and no water included with Haven Suites.

You really don't want a review from me. I would not sign up for an NCL cruise in the near future without a lot of assurances that they have improved their service.

I would recommend this cruise and NCL to everyone If you are a single traveler it has single rooms. Lots of entertainment around the ship and great food even if you do not to a specialty restaurant One of our group has a food allergy and was taken care of most of the time. ( two places were not at all helpful, even though she preordered). Getting off the ship at the ports was not organized very well, but getting off at the end was easy

I have been on close to 40 cruises and this rates as one of the three worst!

Wanted to go on a family vacation with our 11 and 13 year old girls. We all had a great time. Everything was fine and we got the chance to witness a water rescue. This is the first time that the two girls were separated. The teen club was 13 and older and the kids club was up to age 12. Our children, 11 and 13, didn't get a chance to be in a "club" together. They did enjoy them separately.

Had my whole family with me to celebrate my 65 birthday so the trip was great. It was my second time on that ship and my 6 Norwegion cruise and I thought given just coming back from the pandemic the ship was good and I am sure will get better.

Quick trip, good times. Disappointed in the small balcony but other than that no issues.

We have cruised Royal and Celebrity but cruise now exclusively on NCL. The staff and officers could not be any nicer. Yes, the pool is crowded but you can find a spot if you look and the music, entertainment is great. One afternoon at the buffet I went to the bar to see if they had Heineken draft because the other bars were out. An officer overheard me tell my wife they had it. He asked if I wanted one, so I told him I would come down before dinner and get it. Then he asked where we were having dinner and the time. We arrived at Teppanyaki at 7pm and our server immediately brought me an ice cold Heineken. This was above and beyond expectations and the reason we cruise NCL. The service is always excellent and you never see an employee with an attitude. In fact when you talk to them, most have worked at other cruise lines but prefer NCL because they treat them better. We just cruised 7 days last week on the Bliss, another great cruise. Thanks to Bobby Ortega, Dominik, Germaine, Erik and Gday. You guys are the best.

Not going back for quite some time. Either they haven't recovered the right staff from the COVID closures or they have simply lost their touch with the hospitality industry.

We had a good time and enjoyed the cruise. You do get more for similar pricing when we had a suite on Royal Caribbean. With a younger child, would have preferred kids' program with more activities and better time availability. Would consider Norwegian again if received a great deal on pricing, otherwise, feel that Royal Caribbean has them beat on food, entertainment and kids' activities.

Overall the cruise was great me and my wife had fun. I would definitely go on the Norwegian breakaway again!

Initially the destinations were 4 different islands that I had never been to. Norwegian changed all island destination’s to places ive been to already and there was one less island to visit. Customer service told me the cruiseline does have the right to change the ports of call and refused to provide any price reduction. Been on many cruises and this never happened to me before. First and last time cruising with Norwegian. Holland America was a much better cruise experience….
