Review summary

Pleasant, relaxing cruise. Good way to see New England and Canada

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Was supposed to be given a number when I checked in and wasn’t and didn’t know it until an announcement was made for boarding. Made my time much later than it should have. Otherwise, the process was easy after doing the paperwork on line

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Cagney’s and Ocean Blue were excellent. The main dining rooms are pleasant but food choices not as good. The drink package includes drinks up to $15 but you can’t get a bottle of water!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The ropes course is fun

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Burn the Floor was excellent. Six did not appeal to me. Howl at the Moon is entertaining. The Levity group I did not like the adult version. I don’t mind adult content but f— words every other word isn’t necessary

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff should be commended for their hard work.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
All areas were keep clean. Did not like the cigarette odor throughout the whole promenade due to the smoking in the open casino.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Plenty of room. A full size couch and big counter area. Liked the glass enclosed shower.

Just embarked here

Newport, Rhode Island

Did a tour of the Breakers on our own. Easy to get to via the free shuttle.

Portland, Maine

Would have rather had an extra day in Newport or Bar Harbor

Bar Harbor, Maine

Beautiful, quaint town. Nice to walk around and get something to eat. We rented e-bikes to ride through Acadia National Park. Great experience

Saint John, New Brunswick

Walked out to Reversing Falls at Bay of Fundy. We didn’t get to see the tide change but had an invigorating walk. About 6 miles round trip. The port area is being renovated so now it’s not very scenic.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
A lot to see. We walked to the Citadel. Big uphill! Very informative. Then, back to the waterfront to the Maritime Museum.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth. We walked off with our luggage
