Meh - not impressed by belindadrake123

Would NOT book this room again. You could hear deck chairs above (at the pool?) starting to get moved around as early as 5am. The door was also across from where they bring luggage off and on the floor. No thanks. Cabin was clean, and we loved having a balcony. Size was just fine for two people, and the bathroom was very large for a cruise ship, with lots of storage.

Air conditioning quit working and toilet would flush only when it wanted to.

Great Caribbean Cruise by jolenehanson

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

cabin was clean, size was fine, only drawback was being so close to elevators. Had a few times where someone would knock on door and run so kind of annoying

Great getaway on the Breakaway by TDHNJ

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Family (older children)

The room was great. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bed in this cabin is right next to the closet, with the couch and desk area near the balcony. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom, which was more than big enough. There were also plenty of hangers in the closet and enough shelf space as well for my wife and I's clothing.

A Detailed Review of Our Holiday Cruise on the Breakaway by bskramer48

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

Our stateroom was a 14th floor balcony room set up with one large bed. The Breakaway is a relatively new ship, so the rooms are organized more efficiently than some of the older cruise ships. At the same time, most cruise ship rooms seem similar to me in the way they are set up. There was a good size closet and a fair number of drawers. I would have liked more, but we were easily able to put away all our clothing. Our stateroom steward, Richard, was exceptional. He was friendly, efficient, and made great towel animals. Our room was cleaned twice a day and everything was in working order. Of course, the bathroom was small and the room in general was compact, but it’s a cruise ship - the rooms are always small. Our room had two 110 volt outlets for the entire room (two is a luxury on a cruise ship). It would have been nice if there were some USB ports for recharging as I have seen on other NCL ships, but there were none in our room. I knew that for our electronics (iPhone, iWatch, laptop, camera, iPod, etc.), this would not be enough. I brought along a USB hub that also featured an additional 110 volt receptacle. This allowed us to easily recharge everything each evening. If you like to bring along multiple electronics, plan some strategy ahead of time.
