This is one step up from Carnival. Introverts should consider Holland or Celebrity in the same price bracket.

Usually the ship and staff were great, but don't be the first ship to visit Alaska, the stores are not prepared to accommodate you!

The cabin seems similar size but bed seems bigger and very comfy we loved the pillows, be ware we were under gym and even though it says not to drop weights there are always someone who doesn’t follow the rules! If you can’t put them down softly then don’t lift so much

The Bliss was definitely designed for viewing in Alaska--the 15th floor Observation Lounge will be great for viewing at Glacier Bay. The view from the Garden Cafe forward on Deck 16 right above the Observation Lounge is the best for spotting whales, dolphins, etc.

Observation lounge- deck 15. Not to be missed. It’s absolutely a stunning place for coffee, snacks, or a drink from their bar in the evening. Gorgeous room! Also try to get Vibe passes for sold out cruise or trying to get pool chairs will drive you crazy!!

It’s first come, first served with scheduling dining times and shows so plan out your entire cruise itinerary and book everything you want to do as soon as you get on the ship.

Just like everyone else says, book everything as far in advance as you can. A lot of things can't be booked until you're actually on the ship. It's a hassle on the first day, but take the time to reserve everything you want, and the rest of your cruise will be much more relaxing. Several times we saw upset cruisers who tried to book things three or four days into the cruise and couldn't get what they wanted. The racetrack and laser tag fill up fast -- book them as soon as you get on board!

Ask your cabin steward for a coffee machine, they replenish amenities daily and it’s lovely to have coffee first thing in the morning.
