The bliss is a beautiful ship with the amazing Observation lounge. The service is not to the per-pandemic level we experienced this same week & itinerary in 2019. Be prepared for slow service and book all activities as soon as possible ahead of time. Consider hanging out in Spice H2O while docked at some of the smaller ports,, they just aren't worth it.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived around 1:30pm and embarkation was quick & smooth
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food was just average in the main dining rooms and the Garden Cafe. We had a party of 8 and were unable to get any specialty reservations
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Spice H2O was nice, Casino was great, Go-Karts while disorganized were fun. Massages at the spa were very good, but no other spa amenities are included, not even a robe
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Six was wonderful! The talent was on par with a touring Broadway show.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Service overall was just ok. Perhaps they were overwhelmed or understaffed, but don't book every cabin if you can't service it. Very simple. Long lines & slow service overall
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship was beautiful. Observation lounge is the hidden gem of the Bliss. Ship was clean, elevators were not overwhelmed
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was clean and in good working order. It was a little creaky on rough sea days compared to the cabin next door that our family also had. Bring a outlet expander to help charge all your devices
Ship tip
Sign up for everything early! The day reservations open. Shows, dining, Vibe, ect.
We were delayed about 20 mins from our initial projected departure time, but once we were called we were off the ship in 5 mins. Immigration was done onboard with a phot and we walked right though. Luggage pick up was organized and porters available. I was impressed
Since I was mid deck 13, my ClubSuite was around the corner from the elevator, I always just took the stairs to the lounge or cafe. I used the lifts when I had to go lower. But then again my cruise wasn't at full capacity.
