Embarkation

5 out of 5
easy and not crowded

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The dining room service was very slow. At breakfast it was very slow to get a juice or tea, but coffee was no issue. It was real hit and miss service with dinner being a bit more organized than breakfast

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
pools were over crowded, but you got to know a lot of people as everyone was bumping into one another. We used the gym multi times, they only have 2 bikes for the full ship, unless you take a spinning class, we were told we could use the spinning bikes when there was no class, and then once got kicked out for no reason, told they were dangerous for us to use without training. LOL, been spinning before you where born kid. The treadmills are poorly maintained, broken safety clip, TV's not workings and other issues. Waterslide one was fun the other people were getting stuck in. Didn't use the laser tag or race car they wanted extra money for this. There is a small mini putt but we did not bother it was not interesting enough and the walking track was only available until 9 am and then chairs were placed there, confusing many people. People found it easier to walk on the waterfront on level 8, which was the relaxing deck. No basketball court

Entertainment

3 out of 5
once again the shows were hit and miss. Some required reservations which was a real pain as you really needed to plan this all in the first moment you stepped on the ship, otherwise you were out of luck, have been on a lot of cruises and this is first for me. The shows you did not need reservations for, were either very busy so no seats available or at strange times. 7:30pm was too early as you could not get out of the dinning room by then or next show at 10:00 or 10:30 which was late for us and so many were not used to the time changes

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
waiters were totally unorganized, but I blame this on the design of the ship. The tables in the dinning room were so crowded together and they had such a long distance to carry large trays, we witnessed many accidents of waiters dropping dishes. Our room steward was super, for the number of rooms he had to clean, he handled the job, for him I GIVE HIM 5*

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
ships layout is horrible, no thought given to workers. The ship was clean and well maintained. There was a large out break on the ship so they made all workers clean extra

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was super clean, our room steward was wonderful, he worked so very hard, for this I give him a 5*. The inside cabin is hidden in a little halfway far from an elevator, with little to no storage. On the plus the bathroom was roomy with lots of storage, one of the best bathrooms we have had, but on the other hand one of the worst layed out rooms we have ever had, which lacked storage space

Ship tip

book another cruise, The Bliss is too big and too impersonal, with a real lack of private space. Decor is lacking don't know what people see that they think is so wonderful

did our own excursion, went to a beach, which was not very good, the sand is black so it was so hot that we could not even walk on it, even with shoes on. The waves were very rough so we did not bother. Husband did the Volanco climb which he really enjoyed

Panama Canal Transit

4 out of 5
