We had a great relaxing time. The food, service and entertainment were all great!!

It was our first cruise and can hardly wait to book another!

Not good at all. The worst of 7 cruises I’ve been on.

V Enjoyable However from 3 Ports we ended up booking 7 Shore Excursions because 2 were cancelled 2-4 weeks prior to Cruise; 1 Cancelled on day of Embarkation - all these 3 WITH NO REASONS GIVEN!!!! 4th trip cancelled at Time f Helicopter flight to Glacier in Skagway due to low cloud in Mountains and therefor fully understandable But Holland America could/should COMMUNICATE BETTER

We enjoyed the 14 day land cruise from Vancouver to Fairbanks via Whittier and Denali so much that we are going again this year.

Ship was beautiful and comfortable, food was delicious views were incredible!

We have cruised many times before, but never to Alaska. I don’t think I would use Holland America again, although they are one of the few that offer cruise tours. I believe that this was a one and done destination. It’s someplace I always wanted to see and experience.

Amazing. I will be back some day. Heri our room Stewart was our favorite.

Booking through RCI provided some advantage with smaller shore excursions, though less efficiently organized. Also, we didn't have travel through Holland America, which caused difficulty traveling to and from the ship (embarkation and disembarkation). Things could have gone smoother had we booked directly with the cruise line, though I probably won't ever book with Holland America again. Viking is much better though expensive.

The cruise was good. But the land tour was unsatisfactory. They messed up our land tours. To date they have not returned my money for the side tour that they refused to allow me to take. It did not matter that I had written proof from Holland showing the tour on my itinerary. I am very disappointed in their McKinley Chalet staff.

This was our second dad-daughter Alaska cruise and makes my day watching my daughter have a well deserved vacation and I got to spend 12 days with the love of my life!

Enjoyed it but not overly impressed with HAL, issues with our package, lost luggage, very slow service in bars and dining room

Great cruise. HAL and crew are always fantastic. Unfortunately, a blast of norovirus ran its course through the entire ship, causing of course, facility lockdowns and cleaning on a constant basis. The crew of course always are fantastic at this. My blame, goes on the people themselves who don’t follow standard protocols when it comes to ensuring that their fellow passengers don’t get sick

Cruise was fine and Alaska was great as usual. While many of the issues were outside of HAL control (boarding in Vancouver, weather in the Gulf of Alaska, norovirus) we were very disappointed with HAL. Poor service, snobby officers, weak entertainment.

Good cruise for British Columbians , no plane to deal with . Cruise food is good & plenty of choices on menu . Service excellent for all departments. Food was salty overall every dish . Not good for old people & high blood pressure . Can ask for low salt or no salt . Paid for lobster 🦞 meals . 14 days should have at least 1 lobster 🦞 meal free . Drinks at happy hour is best priced for occasional drinkers 1/2 priced .

We are not frequent "cruisers" so 17 days was a bit much but that is no one's fault. We were comfortable and had an enjoyable and relaxing vacation, which was our primary goal.

A very nice first Holland America cruise for me. I will 100 percent sail with them again.

Truly the cruise to nowhere - just look at all the places we did not go to. Having only a couple hours in one port for an entire week is not my idea of a great cruise. While some people are perfectly content to never leave the ship, I'm not one of them - the ship is not my destination, It's my mode of transportation. Thinking we were porting and would be off the ship, we moved away from our usual balcony and opted to test an oceanview. Boy was this the wrong week to do that!!

Tomas the entertainment director was very good and entertaining. Except for 1 instance his trivia games were very good. No real prizes for winning, but fun. It was interesting that there was one group of people always waited to say their score after the top score was announce and surprisingly they always won by one point. I guess winning nothing was more important than just the entertainment. If you are reading this you know who you were and everyone else did too. 🤨To the black gentleman and his group who knew so much detail at the last music trivia, you won, I don’t care if the other team came out of nowhere with 1 more point after you were announced the winner.
