Easy and fast, once you get past the traffic getting to the port, that was crazy busy, give yourself an extra hour coming from the airport.

Holland America is very consistent with the quality and quantity of their food. Always very good, fresh and seasoned just right!

Gorgeous venue, excellent service, ok food, appetizer portions are very small, main entrees were too complicated, too much going on. I had the Dan Dan noodles, the dish had so many spices and veggies, it even looked complicated.

Lido Market

I would give it a five star if only they had stayed open through out the day and evening. They completely close at night from 8-10:30 and during the day, between meals, the selection is very limited. We never went hungry, plenty of food at the Dive Inn, pizza and room service.

Great to see so many your kids enjoying the pool area, the water was a perfect temperature, not cold at all.

We missed the Lincoln Center Stage, did not perform during our cruise. The piano players in Billboard were very lively, no movies on board or movies theater. Dancers and singers in the main theater were very good.

Always kind, very friendly and quick to help, I think all of our service crew were new hires, they seemed a little lost when asked a question or took them out of their task at hand. Very hard workers.

We had the back wrap around corner deck, the views were spectacular, worth every penny on an Alaskan cruise. Cabin was beautiful, comfortable and well stocked, blankets, coffee maker, binoculars, wanted for nothing!

Ship tip

Ask your cruise consultant what is NOT included in the normal activities. Make sure you have a print out of the package you booked. We had gratuities included but the ship had no record so I had to prove it was included.

Make sure you don’t book anything for the time assigned to cruise the fiords, they are spectacular, nothing compares to these, Mendenhall is grand but these are fantastic.
