The staff that took care of the rooms where very through and cared about the work they did to make us comfortable.

Be prepared to be pampered but also expect to pay for many extras!!!! Had no idea it would cost to have a power chair due to disabilities and for laundry service. Other cruise lines provide some of these services at no additional cost.

I have been on many cruises and have never gotten sick before. Although it is magnificent, I believe it is a "sick ship". By the end of the week, a lot of people had the same cough as me and my boyfriend and several people at our table. I believe it is an airborne illness.

I took my first RCCL cruise in 1991. Since then I have cruised 4 times with other cruise lines. No other cruise line compares to RCCL.

Was happy that the BBQ on Labadee was included - and the beverage package was also honored on the island!

If you are considering a room with a balcony, get one that is mid-ship, mid-level. That way you will feel less or no movement of ship when sailing. We were on deck 7, exactly in middle of ship where balcony protrudes out the furthest and I never felt ship move when in our room.

Be sure to pick up your complimentary ice dancing tickets on board - get there early to ensure a good seat. Deck 5 has a complimentary area with water, coffee, tea, desserts and sandwiches open 24/7.

Unless you're a big drinker, buy the 10 drink for $80 package (or 2 packages). It's cheaper than the premium package and you don't feel like you must drink to recoup your investment. Also, if you do buy the premium package, they'll serve you cheaper wine if you don't select from the wine list.

While the cruise line automatically adds a daily gratuity charge to your bill, consider giving additional cash tips to the people you have personal contact with. They work hard to make your trip wonderful.

We were fortunate, the ocean wasn't rough. Since Navigator of the Seas is a smaller ship than the Harmony or Allure of the Seas it is more likely to become seasick on a smaller ship.

Make sure you wear shoes with good traction. The decks, especially around the pool, are very slick when wet.

We used My Time dining and went very smoothly. We never waited for more than about 10 minutes, and were always able to get our choice--a table for two.

The deck chairs get claimed pretty early. If you want to lay by the pool, get your towel on a chair by 9:30am. There are lots of chairs in both the sun and shade, but the chairs closest to the pool will go fast. You also have the Solarium for quieter, more adult pool time.

if you have been on any of the bigger ships, you can tell the difference how the ships have improved and changed, had some problems with doing immigration onboard ship and with organization of leaving on excursions

Bring lots of reading material if you have multiple sea days.

The crew members we had direct contact with (cabin & dining) were excellent though, at times we found some "higher up the ladder" a little aloof.

I lost my electronic book and it was found just two days later.
