Much improvement needed by jodeez

Ship: MSC Seashore

Overall my least enjoyable cruise. My biggest issue was the main dining room food which was unpalatable. The best part of my cruise was Venchi.

2 WeekYacht Club Experience by vetlover

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

We have cruises MSC 8 times. Two have been in balcony cabins. Six have been Yacht Club. The service on those two cruises was the worse ever. I think there should be a closer line between the two.

A beautiful ship but the food has to be upgraded by brunib

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I think the ship is new, and one of the most beautiful sailing from Miami. Everything works well, no complaints. We cannot say how the regular restaurants were because we were in Yacht Club, which is a notch up from the other restaurants. The whole Yacht Club experience is excellent. But the food in the "specialty" restaurants have to be upgraded. The Mexican restaurant should be eliminated as the food is simply bad. No reason to have a Mexican restaurant in an Italian ship. The seafood restaurant is manned by disinterested waiters and the food is very plain. The Burcher's Cut was better and so was the Teppanyaki, though not the best in any ship. Disembarkation was smooth, but embarkation in Miami was chaotic. No one directing the traffic into the building and we discovered the Yacht Club entry by chance. No wheelchairs there. Otherwise, if they polish these very minor faults, MSC would be the best in the industry as they have the ships, they just have to polish their cuisine.

Amazing Cruise trip (yacht club!) by Rishko

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall a very pleasant experience, if you want to go and relax, then only choose the yacht club. Also I personally wouldn’t go again, didn’t like destinations/ports the most.

Seashore round 2 by k9nurse011

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

My cruise was great… again! Definitely a different experience than traveling during COVID. But not in a bad way. More things were open and happening on the ship this time. Did I miss the reduced capacity? Yes! But did it impede my experience? Not at all.

Cruise with low expectations by Chelsealoreneh

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

This cruise was a good time but more stressful than necessary. MSC still has some learning to do to make this a more enjoyable experience.

Beautiful ports and stunning beaches by Deb2000

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was a beautiful ship, and I loved that the pool areas did not blast loud music or shows and were very enjoyable. The adult pool was wonderful, and the shows were amazing with very talented performers. Unfortunately there were no casual dining options other than the buffet, and it always seemed to have long lines and the seating was limited. All of the staff I encountered were amazing, but it just felt too crowded, however, it is the terrible set up for luggage retrieval at the Miami port after debarkation that might put me off MSC again.

Awesome Caribbean Cruise by asmilinwtch

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We had an awesome week on the cruise….wish we had booked a second week. Staff was great as usual. They always make us feel special. We have had trouble with the accounting department of MSC but when we go on the ship, we realize why we always choose to return. We would definitely recommend trying MSC.

Overall good cruise! by lcoble

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

Just got off the Seashore this morning. We had an absolutely wonderful cruise. Everything we ate was good and aside from what others have said we found variety in the buffet everyday for lunch, there were always different deserts and an international section with different daily options. The donuts for breakfast are delicious, as is the pizza! We ate at the Butchers Cut one night and Hola one night, both were amazing! The waitstaff and servers across the ship were fantastic! Half the time I didn't have to tell them what I wanted, they already knew :-). The acrobats for the shows were really good, the singers and dancers, not so much, just my opinion. Our room steward wasn't the best, we had to ask for towels and body wash twice before getting either and twice our bed wasn't even made, no big deal for me but definitely affected her tip. Ocean Cay is amazing, we had no issues with jellyfish in the lagoon. The drivers on the island were pretty rude though, multiple people were complaining about that. We've been to St. Thomas and San Juan multiple times so we just walked around in those ports. We were supposed to dock at 5 pm in San Juan but we weren't able to get off the shop until 6:45 and it was complete chaos!! We ended up getting a duel ticket for the Sky Ride and Pirate Museum in St. Thomas which we thought was a good deal, we had a lot of fun at both places. In Puerto Plata we took the transfer downtown from the port because it was SO hot there! I was extremely annoyed because we had an itinerary planned for that port but when we got off the bus we were forced to have a tour guide and although we got to see what I wanted to see, we had to go to the shops and restaurant that they took us to!! I told him we wanted to go to the Chocolate Bakery and Cafe right by city center but he said it was only open at night but when we got back to city center it was open! The back elevators are the quickest, the other ones all take forever!! Embarking and debating were both a nightmare, I've never experienced such disorganization but that was the port crew, not the ship crew. We sailed at full capacity but other than the pools on sea days it never felt crowded anywhere. Overall we enjoyed cruising with MSC and will definitely book another one!

International Flavor by dpalmes1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

MSC ships are gorgeous, beautiful ship, a floating luxury hotel. Good food, friendly staff. Only wish that they allowed one to share wifi like the other cruise lines. You were not allowed to log off one device and log into another.

Lovely Ship. Limited Dining by Midships

Upscale feeling cruise on a beautiful ship with wonderful crew. Sadly opening hours of food and pools/hot tubs were enough to detract a bit from an otherwise lovely cruise.

MSC Needs to Improve by KennyElmore

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

Our next cruise will probably be with another cruise line. This cruise left my family with several safety concerns. There was a lack of entertainment in the pool areas compared to other cruise lines.

Amazing cruise experience by annamc27

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We really enjoyed the cruise overall. The only thing i didn't really care for is in Jamaica at the dunns fall excursion (which is beautiful) at the end to walk back to the bus you are bombarded by people trying to force you to buy things and just putting things in your kids hands. I want to look and buy what i want to buy not what im forced to. And i want to take my time to look around not forced to look at what they think i want to look at.

MSC isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be but.. by Ant628

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

So the cruise itself was great. Staff was amazing, kids club ladies were great with my son (8). Our room steward was very nice, servers and bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. We all enjoyed the food, all the negative reviews on food must be subjective because from the buffet to the MDR to the 3 specialities restaurants we ate at were all good. Some better than others of course but all good. There was no “bad food”. I highly suggest the lamb from “butchers cut”. Now my main issue was the passengers. I know this cruise line is Italian based and I suppose it attracts a lot of Italians amongst various other people across the world. But man the groups of 6-8 Italians and I don’t mean American Italians I mean Italians who flew in from Italy probably were just so loud, rude, obnoxious, and had zero manners. I understand we were all on vacation but it was truly the most annoying part of our experience was dealing with the rowdiness from the same 3-4 groups of passengers.

Front the start to the end of the cruise we have more headaches than fun. Although all crews were nice. Service sucks, everywhere we go. Very unorganized. Kids are wilds. Passengers are horrible especially their kids who can not maintain personal space.

Beautiful Ship by Parrotthead14

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Great ship, staff was attentive. Itinerary was good except for late afternoon arrival in San Juan. Very affordable cruise, 2K for two adults and two teens in a balcony room. Couldn't be happier with MSC Seashore.
