Worst Cruise Experience I've Ever Had by almilton76

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

When I originally booked this cruise I was so excited and looked forward to the great ports on the itinerary to include Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, & the Bahamas. This was down graded to 3 ports which i was disappointed but still excited. But after waiting over 3 hours to get on the ship, then the multiple issues with registering my credit card to my ship card, only being able to visit 2 ports on a 7 night cruise then have to change my flight and spend an extra night in Florida I'm truly disappointed. I've cruised over 12 times and this was the only time I've come away disappointed. I feel the cruise line had poor customer service and had no regard to how the passengers on this cruise were treated. they gave us a $100 credit and refunded our port charges for Nassau. That is not a fair compensation. I would expect something more like an apology and a 50% discount on a future cruise. after this experience I will not cruise with MSC Again.

Very Fun Cruise by LionelTrent

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: South America

We had so much fun on the cruise, mainly because of the people we sailed with and the crew members. MSC has the best crew members, they’re friendly, caring and so much fun to be around.

Happy to be Cruising, But…. by BarbLap

Cruise was alright but I would think about it twice before sailing on MSC. It wasn’t terrible but I have been on better cruises even after COVID.

Nice ship wrong concept by TonyDan

Overall nice attempt. Great design Chef needs to be changed. Recommendation, base your choice of food by demand. Menu should be thought out better.

could of been a lot better! by LivingADIP

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Over all not as bad as Carnival was, but worse in so many ways! MSC took over last place on my list of cruise lines. The ship was beautiful, but service was horrendous. I had someone make a comment to me that they are a European cruise line and they have different standards on guest service. Well my suggestion would be if you want to compete in an American market you better research guest service and what is expected a little harder!

A journey to remember by tjones26

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship was beautiful. It lives up to MSC standards. The staff for me did not. I truly enjoyed my first MSC cruise and was excited about going but was disappointed in the service this time. I don't know if I will take a third I expected so much more than I received, as a voyager club member I expected better service. I didn't even enjoy th3 Aurea experience even though I paid for the upgrade on my cabin and it was only me traveling so no small amount as I had such high expectations.

Not the ship for me. by dhartness

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends

MSC cruise line one of favorites, but not this ship. Would like a cruise to the ABC islands, but haven’t seen one being listed. The cruise all in all was very good. Just didn’t care for the ship.

Wonderful MSC Seashore by LizJuan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

So because of Hurricane Ian our itinerary changed. One day at Ocean Cay, one at Nassau and 2 days at Taino Bay, Puerto Plata in the DR. That was our favorite port so we were not disappointed at all with the changes. It was our first time there and we had that best time at Puerto Plata.

Beautiful Ship by jcruisingm

The itinerary that was originally planned changed since there was a hurricane. The alternate port stops they chose were great, kept us safe and mostly dry. Most of the service on the ship was top tier.

Cruise with worst food and service by Luna4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We decided to go on the MSC as it was an Italian ship and we had high expectations of the dining, customer service and general experience . The embarkation went well, the whole process was about 45 mins. We them went to have lunch at the marketplace buffet. They served hamburgers, Hotdogs, Pizza, Salad. We boarded at 1:30 pm and around 5:30 they announced that the rooms were ready, we them headed to see our room, to our surprise lots of rooms weren't ready including ours. We them left and waited another hr to go back. Once the room was ready which was like 6:30pm we still had no luggage. Our dining was for 7:15 and we had no clothes to change into. Our luggage finally showed up at 7pm which gave us little time to get ready. The menu we were given didn't offer much choices if your a vegetarian. Our table attendant was extremely rude and had no clue what she was doing. She even refused to bring us coffee. Next morning we went to have breakfast at the buffet on deck 16 which for the remainder of the week we felt like déjà vu. Everyday the same breakfast, there was no variety at all, same for lunch and dinner. At times it seemed like they recycled the food and used it again by adding other ingredients. As a chef I would of been ashamed to serve that food. The dining and customer service needs immediate improvement in order to have quest come back again with MSC. With the lack of food variety ,taste ,presentation and customer service we received wound not travel on MSC again.

MSC Cruise to the Caribbean by lovetocruise25

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore / Destination: Caribbean

I was pleasantly surprised at the service on MSC. There is definitely a "European" culture onboard and we did encounter many people with a lack of manners, but it was overall a very enjoyable cruise and the price point for this line is very good.
