Be prepared the walk up and down stairs. The concept of the elevators was great; however, they were a little slow at arriving and a lot of the times, an elevator was unable to be allocated.

The food is not good. It's the same thing in the buffet every day. Dinning room food is not season at all. I tried the Teppanyaki restaurant, and the chef did not season the meat. The food was bland and not good. The elevator was horrible. They really need to fix this ASAP. There were a lot of older people that had to walk up the stairs due to the elevators. If the button was pushed more than once, the elevator wouldn't come. And if it did come. It was full.

When ordering a room try to get information from someone who has stayed in the room. The cruise line is not honest in their description.

This is a large ship and it takes a few days to get orienteered. We found ourselves lost and turned around quite often. The elevators, at times, had long wait times.

The food is horrible. The food in main dining was unedible for me so I had to go to buffet because that's your only choices for complimentary. Same things every day. No flavor and very bland. Some people don't like hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, and pizza every day. Couldn't even make a salad at times because there was no lettuce. Were told several times they didn't have coke cans but the bar manager said they had over 5k cases. Received wrong drinks several times. Not sure if the bartenders don't understand or if they just don't care.

Book excursions through the cruise line. Our last port in Costa Maya was cancelled due to weather. We had booked through a third party instead of MSC, and getting our refund was a bit of an ordeal and took a lot longer. Had we booked through MSC, refunds would’ve been immediate.

I booked this trip thinking it was a two week cruise. It was what they call a back to back. I learned that after I had already booked it. I would not book a cruise like that ever again. The 8th day of the cruise was pretty much wasted as you had to get off the boat and go through customs and then when we got back on the boat, we were not able to get back to our room until 2:00 pm. We were told we would have access to everything just like any other day, but that was not true.

Have an open mind. Understand there will be a lot of foreigners (non Americans) on board and they all have different cultures and courtesies.
