If you can splurge for Yacht club, DO IT. The service and perks are all absolutely amazing. We did the interior so it made it more affordable.
Embarkation

Being Yacht club, we got the port around 10:30am even though our “time” was 1pm. We went to the Yacht club tent and was escorted by a Butler to the Yacht club check in room. A few minutes later, we had cards, wrist bands, and were checked in being walked through security by our butler. We were escorted all the way to the Too Sail lounge for a drink. Car to ship, less than 20 minutes.

Food and Dining

Food in the Yacht club dining room was really well done and super quick. Service was SO amazing.
Onboard Activities

We did some slides but not much else. We just wanted a relaxing trip.
Entertainment

The stage shows have made a turn for the worse with MSC. I feel MSC listened to American complaints and changed a lot of the shows away from the opera-ish performance (which were really good). The “magic” show was terrible.

Yacht Club service is on another level. Amazing.

I feel Interior Yacht Club rooms are the way to go. If you don’t need a balcony, you can have all the perks without the heavy price. It is a larger interior than normal as well.
Ship tip
Have an open mind. Understand there will be a lot of foreigners (non Americans) on board and they all have different cultures and courtesies.
Love PR. People are all very nice and it’s a fun port.
Did a tour of the rainforest. Not a fan. The drive was over an hour and a half to the top, then about an hour of sites, 30 mins back down. NO RESTROOMS were available until a gas station at the bottom of the mountain. Made the tour a lot less enjoyable.
Thanks for the review glad you enjoy Puerto Rico you need to taste the Mojitos Drinks and Eat Mofongo..
Taino Bay you should try the port area they expand it even they got lazy river
