GO AUREA OR STAY HOME‼️‼️‼️ Despite what you may have heard, MSC can be a very good cruise experience IF you book the Aurea Experience and know how to use all the benefits thereof or book the MSC Yacht Club. For example, they offer the most awesome welcome aboard lunch/brunch, if your Sea Card says "Aurea", yet we encountered hundreds that missed it because they did not know and were not told. Believe this: MSC has some of the very best amenities (full access to thermal suite, etc.), while simultaneously being the very worst at communicating them to you!!!! I would never cruise Bella or Fantasia or whatever on this line.

If you're getting a balcony, look for the ones that are near the mid-ship elevator, some extra space without a premium upgrade.

This was our first with MSC. We cruised many times before with several other major cruise lines. We were very impressed with MSC and the Meraviglia was a great ship. We already booked another cruise with MSC.

Expect a high noise level in the buffet room.

Buffet is very busy, go off peak. Check daily activity app for different activities and save in your things to do. Early or late in the day it is very easy to get in the hot tubs. Days at sea they have a brunch in the dining room. It is excellent. Loved the French toast, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Sailing out of NY was a bit rough so if you are sensitive to motion it's probably not the best option for you

This is not the North American experience you will find on most cruise lines. Do not expect the little courtesies and conveniences you are accustomed to if you've cruised before. My brother summed it up like this, "It's like MSC designed a cruise line because they heard cruises were fun but none of the designers had ever actually cruised before".

If you can go Aurea so you have access to the great spa and eat anytime evening dining. Yacht club great.

To make sure that they will make all stops as they advertised. My trip was scheduled to make 3 stops, they only made one stop for a few hours and spent 6 days in the ocean 🌊
