Meraviglia has a separate theater at the aft of the ship for Cirque du Soleil type of events. If you want to see these shows book it prior to embarking an you’ll save money ($12 before, $18 during). Two issues with this, I feel like these are the types of shows that used to be included and located in the main theater. Also, if you go to one of these shows you most likely have to skip the show that night I’m the main theater, and if you book ahead of time you won’t know which one you’re skipping. We paid more by booking on board, but we were able to pick which show we were missing.

Save your money - there are hidden fees EVERYWHERE and the service is beyond terrible. It was a common theme amongst passengers (new and repeat cruisers), and the repeat guests confirmed that the experience was par for the course.

Be opened minded, they are an Italian based cruise line and accommodate guests from all over so many announcements are longer as they do them in several languages. The food options are a lot healthy that your typical meals but they taste DELICIOUS!!

I would recommend studying the deck plans and getting familiar with all the venues that are on the "must do" list. Then, find them as soon as you can.

There is a lot of talk about not having the 24/7 ice cream on MSC but we found that you can go to the bar at the pool and get ice cream, they will serve it to you. You don't have to have a beverage pass to get the ice cream.

I would recommend getting there early for embarkation. There are a bunch of stuff to do on all decks recommend taking a while to explore and see all the decks
